I am not a 15 year old US teen. But it IS a fail. Pure and simple. It has no message and only fools listen to rap. There might be some good musicians under the rappers, but metal is true, as said before and for educated people.

Hahaha!. I know a TON of Metalheads, none of them are educated. Now if you said Jazz, Classical, or even 90s alternative (Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Sound Garden and all that emo-magnet shit) was for educated people. I would agree. That's from of course personal experience, never took a poll.
As far as Hip Hop, don't throw the Baby out with the bath water. Don't judge them by Lil' wayne and Soulja Boy. Take a listen to Immortal Technique, Common, Nas, Talib Kweli, Eminem, and Jay Z's earlier stuff.

Hey man, listen...don't judge Eminem by his current work, judge by his work with Dr. Dre and shortly thereafter. And as far as Metal, I may be getting my genres mixed up here, but my favorites are more mainstream or semi-mainstream: Mondo Generator, Down, Disturbed, System of a down, Monster Magnet.
I even like Cannibal Corpse, well...one or two songs. I can't listen to whole album of that shit. I'm more of a melodic person.

Eventually his drinking wouldn't help anymore, so he went to harder and harder drugs to numb the pain. After that, he became a junky and Pantera broke up. Dime got depressed from the breakup, and him and his brother formed a new band, Damageplan
Thankfully Phil went to the doctors eventually

Phil said in a interview that he would kill the abbott brothers if they would "jump him" in a not serious way and after that came in the papers there were no answer in the other end when phil was gonna call and explain that's what happend, and yes phil went from stronger painkillers to stronger painkillers until the needle slid in.
