  • When I was younger and heard Joseph's story I couldn't understand at all. I couldn't even imagine why he'd forigve his brothers. But now I kind of get this "What does it matter?"-feeling. As if being angry after so many years would be... childish. Maybe forgiveness and grace are more important than I thought.

  • dud i started like crying dude i like never cry 4 normal like real life movies sooo creepy hhahahaha

  • ;_______;

  • @Balthzkar

Joseph went to pharo and asked if his father and his family could live in the land of Goshen, which I think borders Egypt, then when one pharo was told by one of his wisemen that an evil star was in the sky it would bring the deliver of the hebrew slaves. So pharo sent word to kill every newborn male hebrew child. Moses was sent down the nile in a basket so he could live then later God heard the cries of the hebrews in egypt and choose Moses to deliver them out of Goshen.

  • @TommeekkaLeshay God had already chosen Moses, before he was born, or sent down the river. His plan began to manifest itself when he was born. ( my comment was not ment for criticisim, but just for clarifying. ) nice sequence of events btw. God Bless.

  • Wow, I just realised that the guy giving Joseph the cup is the guy from the prison! Haha, why do I only see this now? xD

  • THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!:-D I cried at the end;-) It was so touching...I love this movie and I this is my 1st time watching it. Honestley it has so much meaning:-) <3<3<3

  • @ItsSoPointless I Totally Agree. Although Not Entirely I Do Think He Could Play A Young Man. Just Not A Grown Man Because His Voice Is So High!

  • the ending is wonderful it made me cry

  • Oh well, it's not as well done as Prince of Egypt, but it's still quite okay, I guess...

But am I the only one or is anyone else thinking that Ben Affleck is a terrible voice actor?

  • Why is everyone being so mean. He's not a Jew retards.

  • I want this in swedish :(

  • 8:14.. the Parasites have entered Egypt lol

  • Joseph is one sneaky Jew. lol

  • @Heiveldboy no, Moses takes place some 400 years after joseph.

Joseph first brings the israelites into Egypt, then the much later Pharaoh fears an overthrow, so he makes them his slaves.

  • Aww, Joseph didn't grow his beard back...

  • i like how joseph is from outside the palace and gets a girl from the palace while in the prince of eygpt, moses lives in the palace and gets a girl from outside the palace :) alls well ends well :D

  • this movie is so awesome... at last... cuz the maincharakter is a real charakter, not only good or bad...!

  • i love this movie i cant stop watching it

  • so the people of israel are 1/24 egyptian?

  • Pause at 7:16 he looks so cute with those big eyes

  • I may not be Christian or anything like that, but I like this movie.

  • @GaaraSutcliff Cool. Do you mind if I ask what faith you keep, if any?

  • @25151206 Well, I would say I'm Atheist apart from Yaoism..it's not an official religion, but if you look it up on Urban dictionary then you'll see what it is.

  • @GaaraSutcliff Oh, I see. I had a quick look on that website, It gave just a brief description. From what I read, yaoism is basically the worship of gay manga and anime, right? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy manga and anime too(though I prefer ones with sexy girls, a good story line or action) but what is the point in worshipping something that is man made? Sorry about this, but I just don't get it, y'know? If it's man made, then anyone can do it, that's how I see it anyway.

  • @25151206 I can see your point, but just so you know it's not just because it's part of manga and anime..yaoi does't just only relate to that.

  • @GaaraSutcliff I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but I was just saying that was my impression based on what I read of it. Please tell me more about it, so that I can better understand what it's about.

  • @GaaraSutcliff You believe in "keeping the balance of nature". Well I'll tell you one thing, you Yaoists aren't the onces that influence nature or keep it in balance. Only God can do that, and from what I've read you really don't believe in him do you? Let me tell you, won't be dead five minutes before you believe in him. Also, you people say that you need to keep nature in balance, I bet you a million bucks that over half of you have either driven a car or ridden in one. GO READ A BIBLE!!!!!!!!

  • And thus several generations pass and the Hebrew population in Egypt flourishes. As they become a large and influential minority the Egyptians grow concerned. Enslavement started slowly. First it was voluntary labor to show how patriotic and "Egyptian" they were. As they became dedicated their rights were stripped away. The Hebrews were enslaved. Once control over them was total genocide could take hold. 80 years of persecution, terror and death commenced.

Enter Moses- "The Prince of Egypt"

  • @N3v34h133 It was 80 years until full enslavement started, and the hebrews were enslaved for 200 years.

  • Did anyone notice how Joseph's eyebrows kept changing from reddish brown to Blake then back and forth back and forth.

  • @JarOfHeartsLeftToDie It bothered me so much.

  • Where is josph's mom :( ????

  • @starbright3101112 She died

  • "20 years we have lived with that guilt." And we have not aged that entire time?

  • I could watch this movie 20 times in a row and still not be bored. That's what I call powerful acting! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • This has to be one of the most amazing movies I have ever watched ... I love this and prince of Egypt I've been watching these since I was like 5 lol I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! XD because of this movie I absolutley adore the name Joseph.... all my bf's have that name...... kinda creepy if you think about it 0_o

  • Doesn't this mean that he is responsible for the egyptians treating the jews like trash in the first movie?

  • i'm sorry but did you see the light up on benjamin's face when he saw the egyptian girls. hahaha!

  • I'm not a religious man, But I do enjoy these movies very much, as they are excellent stories and well made movies.

  • 8:56 It be so funny if Jacob looked down at the child and looks back at Joseph and asked "Ummm Joseph why is your son bald?" and Joseph answers back "He isn't ALL bold Dad! Look theirs a piece of hair growing out of his head!" then Jacob says "Thats no excuse for your daughter though"

  • what's the song???!!!

  • @ThePersianMonkey95 you mean the last one? It's called "you know better than I"

  • moses: … and after that our people became slaves!

  • A shattered heart for 20 years and for it to reconstruct instantly in one glimpse is the happiest feeling I have experienced yet. I have no shame in crying for that moment.

  • I remember little snip-its of this movie as a kid. Now I get to see the WHOLE thing ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!

  • You shall all come and live here with your families from now on! - yeah...bad idea :D

  • This movie is so good, i watched it wen i was 8 years old, same with prince of egypt. I love this movie!!! and im 15 now!

  • No this happened first. Moses was born in the book of exodus wheras joseph was the last prophet in genesis

  • I would've started crying in front of everyone if I was Joseph and Benjamin told me our mom died.

  • And they were thus enslaved for the next few centuries.

  • I like this one but prince of Egypt is still the best but what I don't really get is that in Prince of Egypt the Hebrews go back to Caanan to get out of slavery then they go straight back to Egypt

  • @nightslasher509 This is before the first movie... In the Biblie, Joseph brings his family to Egypt and after many years, th enew Pharaoh forgets about this part of history and makes the descendants slaves and then comes Moses, and you know the rest of the story (:

  • @Paolanav30 thanks

  • @nightslasher509

hey man, sorry, but this happened before the prince of egypt and moses was born. The hebrew went into canaan after defeating the Gibeonites and Canaanites. They didn't go back to egypt. PS. im christian, and i hav already read the whole bible twice, so I know what i'm talking about....

  • @nightslasher509

This is before Moses I think

  • I've loved this movie ever since I was little and I still love it

  • There are 12 of us.... not including our wives, children, in-laws or anybody else of importance. I do like this film, but it is a little inaccurate at times. Especially with the never-ageing brothers and the permanently-old Jacob.

    Thanks for posting!

  • I always confuse this movie with a Prince of Egypt! Darnet, now I have to find that one! But it was good...and helped me study for my world history test

  • ;~; can't stop watching the movie lol xD Joseph's kids are so cute :0

  • Duh.

  • ok i have to admit im kinda disappointed at the end... im mean...wtf? the brothers should go to hell, honestly they didnt sacrificed themselves for Benjamen cause they loved him but because the didnt want to make their father sad, so basically they have not yet learned to love each other as brothers. Im very have that Joseph got to have a successful life in Egypt though, best part of the movie :D

  • can someone tell me the connection between this film and prince of egypt????????????

  • @Corkboomer3000 joseph brings the hebrews to egypt, they eventually become slaves, moses takes them out of egypt.

  • @Corkboomer3000 Yes, one of Joseph's brothers here was called Levi and Levi was Moses Great-Grandfather, this is where the Levite Jews descend from. After Joseph brought all the Hebrews to Egypt to live because of the famine, they eventually became slaves when an evil Pharaoh took over because he knew nothing of what Joseph did for Egypt before. (New Generation)

  • okay I gotta admit, I cried a little at the end!

  • What happend to his mom

  • I like Prince of Egypt better just saying

  • I think this is better than the prince of Egypt :)

  • Lmao xD they were sooo many --- awe~! ;~;

  • *sniff sniff* the beard... :< didnt get to see the beard I liked again... waaaah! ;~;

lol xD loved the movie! I wish Dreamworks would make more :3 Bible stories never get old...

  • Joesph: "Wolves..are you fucking kidding me??!? They told them that shit??"

  • Let me preface this by saying that I do not believe this story to be true in any way, but can still appreciate the rudimentary moral lesson behind it-- I used to really enjoy this film when I was younger, so when I randomly cam across this clip I thought it would be fun to re-live a part of my childhood. Unfortunately I was reminded of the awful historical inaccuracies that plague this story. It really is too bad this film is so wrong, in so many ways.

  • @imblindtwo I beg to differ

  • I absolutely love this movie. This movie is more realistic than the one that was made in 1995 (I think). His reactions and comments throughout the movie were exactly how someone would react if it happened to them.

    I love Christian movies!!

  • The ending makes me so happy i always tear! Its so cute when his running towards his dad.

  • No one takes any notice of the fact that when joseph let his people into Egypt they all became slaves and the Moses came along so it is all Josephs fault!! LOL Still love the film though.

  • @0uknown Joseph had to, they were suffering it was to help them then pharouh mest everything up

  • Omg love this song

  • dude this is one of the best stories to read in the bible!!!!!!! next to moses and the life of christ of course. this is one of my favorites. Scripture power!!!!! but Judah is not the eldest who had the birthright. Reuben was.

  • lol their faces at 7:16-7:19 XD

"can u forgive me? blah blah blah" for getting payback? XD

oh and BRAVO good movie. as always.

  • Our brother, Benjamin. Who looks exactly like you!

  • Ben affleck was Joseph voice actor

  • I don't know why they added Joseph's internal struggle just for drama. In the original story Joseph was just testing their intentions, not being vengeful angry like that. The movie titled "Joseph", the 1995 version is a much better version. But still, a good animate movie.

  • this is mericle god will also do a mericle on our life

  • @sokmeanleap It's spelled 'miracle', my friend :)

  • why would nineteen ppl dislike a bible story.......... JESUS is my lord my light and salvation anything he does is perfect

  • @juniorbisnath a better question would be: why would 19 people who seem to dislike this move still. be. HERE.

  • @DarkRoseKnight16 Maybe there trying to really show their disliking by wasting there time and disliking ALL of the videos just to prove it's not worth their time??? :L

  • @izzyGO52 lol wow. if i didnt like a movie in the beginning or show or watever i'd dislike it and then be all like "This SUCKS! im outta here." and go watch somethin else. :P

  • @DarkRoseKnight16 Same but clearly some people are different :L

  • @izzyGO52 lol clearly. it amuses me tho XD

  • Oh dear, I'm crying... :')

  • A happy ending for them, but I bet a slave is still a slave lmao

  • I loved it! superb! and after this one it is prince of Egypt! cool

  • She's the voice of Ariel XD

  • @boptop892 ahh i cant beleive i didnt notice till i read your comment :O

  • After so many years of wondering what the second movie was of Prince of Egypt, I can honestly say I cried for this movie (:

  • @ManGoGreenGo This is the prequel but yeah they're both amazing

  • After watching this I can safely say: No reason Jews are great at administrating money. It's all thanks to Joseph.

  • @Mofongoman69 LOL

  • @Mofongoman69 Oh.. that's why... I see

  • that was pretty weird that he tricked him and we are studying ancient egypt

  • his father kinda looks like Jethro from Prince of Egypt X3

  • i think his robe is fucking sweet.

  • I want to know what happened to that tree he nursed back to health in prison. Is it still there or did they let it wither and die?

  • all i could think of was when joseph was like osana please i want you to meet my brother and she shook her head im pretty sure she was going

    - men are such idiots -

  • "... and my brother James Bond." LOL they... need to work on that.

  • How does Youtube manage to transcribe Cananites to Libetarian? WHAT THE HELL!?

  • He's not much better than his brothers were :c

  • LOL at the fat guy @4:26

  • 7:24 Turn on transcirbe audio

Joseph: I have so much to tell you.

Now look at what the transcribe audio says.

    LoL

  • What is the name of the song that the wife is singing?

  • Comment removed

  • Story of Joseph (P.B.U.H) is also described in Holy Quran, including story of Prophet Jesus (P.B.U.H), Moses (P.B.U.H) & all others. So all praises are to Allah. Verily! He knows better than us.

  • Luke, I am your brother.

  • @MrMatto91 It's funny you quote that because Mark Hamill (who played Luke Skywalker) is the voice of Judah in this movie. XD

  • its a happy ending to the worse beginning because they were all turned into manual labour for the egyptions so its good but also bad BUT GREAT MOVIE NUN THE LESS

  • This is a wonderful movie!! But I'm French and I had the DVD but I lost it. Now I can't find the videos of this movie in french. Can somebody help me please?

  • why is miracle "beer"? save "disabled", my brothers"anyone", your "her". Is sth wrong with the transcribe audio?

  • The transcribe audio said

what do you mean again into "we mean again"

  • The "hot chicks bringing epic mealtime" trick works every time...

  • To be continued 150 years later, the story of Moses, leaving Egypt...

  • @MusicAngel8196 funny, god gets joseph to save egypt only to have moses practecly distroy it, thanks god

  • Comment removed

  • @japaneseladysamurai he sill sent one person to save Egypt to have someone eles distroy it

  • @james739123 only because the pharaoh was enslaving and torturing His people, as I said the pharaoh did NOT know of Joseph's work and enslaved the hebrew, so God sent Moses to save them; for whatever it took.

  • @james739123 you should see "The Prince Of Egypt" not only is it a good movie it explains more :)

  • @japaneseladysamurai see it, I own it on VHS

  • @james739123 because they chose to believe joseph and his god, they prospered. With moses they did not believe him, even with all the proof. They chose to continue worshipping their own gods and suffered for it going as far as losing their own first born sons.

  • @james739123 lol

  • @james739123 Well, God repaired the damage after each plague except for the last one.

  • this movie made me happy face xD

  • Beautiful

  • Benjamin looks like Joseph

  • This part made me cry to x'3
