@aabbklll101 Fully Loaded was careful not to point out what it was loaded with. The new effects drowned out the subtlety that made Herbie films work to begin with. That, and Lindsay Lohan? Please. I would have preferred that they reboot the franchise entirely using a 1998-style Bug rather than put the 60's one in a movie with Lindsay. The entire script for Fully Loaded was a cliche-ridden disaster.

@DozerfleetProd it was a disaster,they took herbie to the distance to a place where he didnt need to be...i think i could have made a tiny bit better herbie movie

Thank you soooo much for posting this theme up..

It just brings back such good memories of when I was a kid..

I so want one of these little VW bugs..

I have always wanted one for the moment I first set eyes on the Herbie movies..

But of course by the time I was old enough to drive these cars were a thing of the past.. I would love to blast this theme on the radio as I drove by in a VW bug.. : )

In Herbie Rides Again, the guy who plays Mr. Whitfield, Ken Berry, would be better known to TV audience as the protagonist's son on Mama's Family, which was 10 years after the film.

I have got The love bug 1968 Herbie rides again and Herbie goes to monte carlo and Herbie fully loaded on dvd I have also got a dvd copy of The love bug 1997 tv movie one I don't have is Herbie goes bananas.

but if you right click the title, you should click save as

The first two Herbie movies (Love Bug, Herbie Rides Again) were good. I've never seen Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo and Herbie Fully Loaded. Herbie Goes Bananas was ok.

@DuncanTheNarrowGauge I've seen "The Love Bug" (the TV movie shown at 1:17). It's an odd film, very surreal and mystical in some ways. I thought it was pretty good. Bought it for $3.00 at a Goodwill store. Worth the price, and a bit more.

@YankeePat94 Herbie Goes Bananas and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo are kick ass. They are the most unique of the 6, yet the stay true to the original story line. Herbie Fully Loaded is only worth seeing once, it's not nearly as good as the first 4, The Love Bug, Herbie Goes Bananas, Herbie Rides Again, and Herbie Goes To Monte Carlo, It's hard to beat the originals.
