I don't even think that LJ Smith should be credited obviously the Vampire Diaries is based on her books but the show is so much better because it's written completley differently and acually has been brought to life yet you never here about specific writers of the show you just here of LJ Smith getting credited for their work. But these talented writers are the ones who made her series more popular than she ever could.
