Can someone explain to me what is so special about this Mod, it looks exactly the same as Rome Total War and does not really show anything new. Is this just me? Someone please explain why people are loving this Mod!

@009Alexander Nope. Not unless you make a backup for rome, put it in a seperate file, delete the modded original, and move/copy the backup to where it was installed before...

REALLY GOOD MOD! I still can't decide if I like it better than RTR though. RS2's skins and graphics are 2nd to none in my opinion. But I'm not crazy about it's 0-turn or 1-turn unit making system. If you like huge battles it's good but I think it's a little over the top. DEFINITELY try this mod though its legions are siiiiick.

It might not go into as much depth as the others, but it's advantages are that it has 28 named Roman legions, the campaign map is insanely large and epic battles of 10,000 or more men are a common occurrence on campaign, whilst they would only happen rarely in most mods.

@YouDig66 hi! I have RTW and Roma Surrectum 1 and i can those games play without lags, but in this game graphics looks so much better so you think i can play Roma surrectum 2 with my 128 mB video card??? :'(

@FDGOD74 So sorry for my late response!!! Honestly, I have no idea. If you want to know these things, you better ask your questions on the Roma Surrectum forum. Look for it on the internet and you'll find it (since I can not give you the link here). However, to the best of my knowledge, they only improved details etc. so there shouldn't be any new vid card required!

@FDGOD74 I read somewhere in the forums that many of the graphics changes were mostly script... So it wouldn't be 'THAT' graphics intensive...
