@purplemoonlight1356 it probably was going to be a continued episode... the producers said in the third season they were going to deal with the aliens more and Fi being part witch, and Jack would've been told to have a past life as a knight. but since Delizia already left and Disney didn't aprove of the writers finale, the original producers left after the second season.

Cara DeLizia left the show to explore other options. She didn't want to be limited to the character of Fi. However, there was an alternate third season planned out that involved a different season 2 finale where her father is sent to Hell and, in the end, she's supposed to go down and save him. It was too dark for Disney, so the plot developers quit and that's how we got Annie Thelen. Honestly? The third season wasn't awful, but that's only because Alexz Johnson was a good actress.

True, but how crazy would season 3 have been with Fi? It would've been so awesome though. I'm not totally against season 3, I did watch for a bit. But I loved Fi so much that I couldn't warm to Annie. But I used to watch Instant Star all the time and she is definitely fantastic.

I'm not entirely against season 3 either, but it would've nice to explore what the original writers had intended. There was going to be a bit of backstory on Molly's alcoholism and a little bit more about Carey... and Jack had a past life as a knight. Plus, there would've been some more alien appearances as well as a bit about the Phillips family's witch ancestry. Very cool, but Disney can't branch out and doing anything dark.
