  • The Grosvenor-Strathmore subway station parking garage on DC's Metrorail has very similar Delaware Elevators.

  • I know, I have been on those. The old parking deck had really fast traction elevators, if I remember correctly. Those new elevators were built in 2004, with the parking deck, and I like them a lot, since they are glass, and have a wonderful view. Hey, Have you ever been to that Marriott on Pooks Hill Rd?, they have Westinghouse Traction Elevators from 1979 for 16 floors(15 above, 1 below)

  • There was no parking deck at Grosvenor station before the current one. Yes, I have been to the Pooks Hill Marriott. I like the elevators at the Marriott Suites better (the one of Democracy Boulevard).

  • I was thinking the White Flint Station. They have Delaware Elevators too, if I remember correctly. Also, do you remember what kind of elevator the Marriott Suites has?

  • nice elevator but the fan I want to brake and those buttons are seen in otis esco and westinghouse as well

  • Nice video. Hey, off-topic, but why is there a rattling noise coming from your camera or something?

  • dunno

  • Interesting how this elevator resembles an Otis and a Kone elevator combined.

  • yes but there there own manufacturer, which is nice, because there built better since there a smaller company, I think. It's rare to find a deleware elevator brokeen, or a death trap

  • Yes, I agree with you.
