May I ask the individuals who Criticize Pastor Brian Houston - have they served him? - have they worked with him for no less than 3 years? - truly walking the same road as him - feeling his struggles and trying to help the church share the love of Christ with the world - it’s not easy you know - I feel until they have walked and served a great man of God like Pastor Brian Houston they have no room to Criticize him. It’s easy to condemn but it’s hard to build and make a difference.

We need the Holy Spirit to help us discern and understand it. He is the one that wrote it through man. Without Holy Spirit, people misunderstand the bible. I went to a church retreat not to long ago. my friend finally was able to get me to go. and i can tell you, receiving the holy spirit... there is no better feeling. you can't explain it, its like an endless warmth in your heart. just knowing jesus is there with you forever. its wonderful. god bless!

Then read how God sent Jesus to fulfil the old covenant which you so boastfully quote in ignorance of Jesus' wonderful work on the cross for all man, which is the fundamental doctrine of Christianity. Jesus fulfilling the old covenant: Jeremiah 31:31, Luke 22:20, 1 Corinthians 11:25, 2 Corinthians 3:6, Hebrews 8:13, ***Hebrews 9:14-16, Hebrews 12:23-25*** . Now read what Jesus says, Matthew 18:21-40, Mark 2:17.

@ndzoko As I started to read the Bible more and pray more, I started to see that in a different. Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.Jesus came for the purpose of fulfilling the promise. The salvation story is the story of the old testament. I encourage you to read into the topic of Sanctify and justify within the bible I think it will encourage you. I can also clarify the fulfilling more if you want

.. PLease don`t. Salvation makes no sense. Even scriptures admit it . Why would an omniscient god choose a process for our salvation which makes no sense to those he came to save ? Makes no sense at all. Moreover, there is not a shred of evidence for salvation.

Jesus didn't make it easier, He made is worse. HE kept on reminding us that the law can never be fulfilled by men. So we really need the grace of God to be able make it to Heaven.

@ndzoko Your understanding of the scripture is very weak. What we call the old testament, was scripture to the early christians. The prophetic word in the old testament did not come by the will of men, but they spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit who authored the new.

@1952hazel He's not talking about Hillsong! he's debating on an issue with another user. Hillsong is one of the best church out there. Jesus doesn't wants us to fight against each other, instead what we should be concentrating on is fighting Satan in the spiritual realm.Each church is unique, either their sabbath is on a Saturday or Sunday, they all believe that Jesus is the messiah. As long as they don't worship Mary, the saints, etc or believe and preach false gospel. Jesus is Lord.

For those who are in doubt, For you nonbelievers...the reason you haven't seen or experienced anything from GOD is because you haven't gave him a chance! Jesus is knocking at the door in your heart, its your choice to invite him in or not. You might feel anger, discontentment etc..but its because you are so caught up in the world. Let go of the things of this world and surrender yourself to Jesus.
