Material? If it's plastic cards, you're a tard. Plastic cards are waaaay to easy to throw. Plastic coated paper cards is as far as I go.

how do you aim?

@charg2456, It take practice, but the important thing for aiming at distances under 15 feet is to make the card fly flat. The card must be released from your hand flat to make it fly this way. Another thing is to make sure your arm makes your hand travel in a straight line from your starting point (above the shoulder), to your release point (your arm and fingers should end up pointing straight out at the object being aimed at)

When you use Rick Smith Jr. grip.

Do you put the whole edge of the card between your ring and middle finger or only you put only the corner between your fingers?

mrdylanmagic and Dark5age, I hold the card from the corner, but I arch my fingers so the short edge of the card is exactly perpendicular to my hand. My fingers aren't straight they arch above the short end of the card to reach the corner. And I hold the card between my middle and ring finger. Holding it this way I feel that the fingers transfer more power to the card.

I started throwing cards using a rick smith jr type grip. then i switched to a modified grip that is exactly the same, except i put the card in between my middle and ring finger. i feel it gives better control.
