I found this recording just as I had finished reading Marc Savoy's account in "Cajun and Creole Music Makers" (Barry Ancelet and Elemore Morgan Jr) of the close relationship that developed between him and Philppe Bruneau and Marc's account of the first time he heard Philppe play one of Marc's "Acadian" accordions when he visited with Philippe in 1974 in Montreal. Marc describes being in the presence of a "musical genius". A lovely tribute from a phenomenal accordeonist. James
