@MegaPureSilver : Where are you from? Because you have to know that in Cyprus there are only 1% poor people...The majority are rich...very rich... And some of the Cypriot the real estate companies are "Giants" on earth...They build in Dubai, Bahrain, London, Spain, Cyprus, the half Greece ( airports, bridges etc)... I beleive you can not compare Cyprus with the cheap companies in Europ... It has excellent real estate...
We got ripped off in a similar way in Rhodes we were sold an illegal villa by the 'Bigest Estate agent on the island'SavvaidisAssociates.........now we cant rent it out,cant sell it and dont want it and it cost us our entire lifes savings,,,,,,,,all for a better life eh.....Greek thieves the lot of em.
The cypriot people have become very very greedy and it will all come back to haunt them in the near future, unfortunately a lot of people have been conned by them or have fallen foul of the corrupt method of the way they sell property.
You cypriots all drive mercs and BMWs, i hope you havent got rid of all your donkeys, you may need them soon.
@glennvera I can see lots of bitterness here. What is your story? Bcoz i am a Cypriot and i have neither mercedes nor bmw. My car is an opel (vauxhall for the english) corsa. And trust me... most of those who have these cars might even owe money to the banks. They are just stupid enough to think that if u have a good car makes u someone.
@glennvera You don't need to blame a whole nation for that. I bet your country has lots of drawbacks as well just like any other country. After all, Cypriots have been through hell in order to be there and have worked their asses off to achieve the developement of their island.

It is truly a beautiful location abused to a disgraceful degree by the incompetence of the developer... All I can hope is that these people, who got in a way cheated in this case, find somehow their right and justice is restored. BTW, demolition is simply a waste. It should be bought by another developer as it is, fixed and completed

If a construction company, a developer, has commenced a project, pre-sold properties and all, it should only be fair and proper for the legal system to be allowed to substitute the incompetent developer with another one, who would have the ability and responsibility to complete the project and reap the rewards, as well! No residential, or, in general, welfare projects should be allowed to come to a stand-still like this one. It is the very least unethical.

Cyprus society is small enough so you can have reputation traveling from mouth to mouth. the best thing a buyer can do is ask around. Cypriots are friendly and they will tell you the truth about the reputation a developer might have. I wish you will be refunded one way or the other.
i think you have to make a show on British homes from hell.. from the first day i moved here, I never saw ONE proper house. just problems. water leaking, really bad structure, small stairs, smelly rooms, parts of the roof falling apart. and you pay so much money! Living all my life in Cyprus until 6 years ago, I can tell that these are isolated incidents. Cypriots are professionals (most of them at least!). Now if the couple in the video made a bad and uninformed choice, its their fault.

Cyprus has some of the most amazing project and properties on Earth.... What are you talking about??? Also in U.k, Dubai, etc etc, there are few Cypriot companies... I can find you not one, but millions sad byers in London, Paris , Italy, UAE...so do not put that videos on internet...
these development companys just want money. when you pay up front they have your money and then they lie to you. you should pay when the home is built and not before. i wouldnt pay up front.
Why don't you sue the Paradise Hills then? That is not Cyprus' homes problem but Paradise Hills' problem lol?!

these development companys just want money. when you pay up front they have your money and then they lie to you. you should pay when the home is built and not before. i wouldnt pay up front.
