FUCK! I remeember playing this game a LONG time ago, this brings back great memories... wish i had a N64 again :/

I don't understand people who review games by playing them poorly emulated.... do they ever come off with a good impression that way?

i know this is like years too late for you, but if you take that left path you took on your second lap, and use a nitro boost while going through the boost cloud at the end (not the first clouds but second clouds) you get amazing speed through the tunnel and you can actually bounce off the mountain (visually, really it's the barrier) and launch yourself quite far. It's one of the best ways to get the time records on this course. Just be warned, nitro boost through a boost cloud is crazy speed.

i agree, but i still have my 64 and xg so i can still play it on the original system =P but i wasn't able to get xg2 when the 64 was popular ='( so i have to w8 for that.

btw, the guy sucks with the laser lol
