Every time I try to solve an equation with variables, I get "Error: Argument error" I did the same as you to differentiate, and got that... I can't even have the result for: root (x,y). Please HELP
@rayags YouTube does not allow links in the comments, but the Texas Instruments website has more information on calculator emulators. Some cost money, while others are free.
@UnExZeRo If you're a Junior or above I'm guessing you won't have a problem. The best thing to do is to talk to other students and professors to get a feel for the rules for your particular classes. I hope it works out for you.
@ultimatemath is there a simple way to solve simultaneous equations on the ti 200? something like "x+y=5 I 7x-y=0" just more complex with constants and all those kind of things
@NativeGER Sure. A matrix is probable the easiest way to solve simultaneous equations. I have a video on this entitled "Matrix Editor and rref in Ti Voyage 200."
@UnExZeRo Well, they are both great calculators. One of the main differences I see between the Voyage and the 89 is the QWERTY keyboard. This difference often means the Voyage will not be allowed on as many tests. Because of this, the majority of engineering students I know use the TI-89. I guess I am impartial between the two other than that. Thanks for the comment!
@LemonJohn92 Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it! This tutorial is only the tip of the iceberg, as the calculator can do much more than can be cover in 10 min.

@lemuria9 Perhaps you have something assigned to the variables. Try the "Clear A-Z" command under the "Clean Up" menu (press F6).
