drums. Purdi has definetly still got it. He gives this slow tempo life, and buoyancy. With consistent attention to dynamics. Loved everyone's performance!

Thank you for posting this for those of us who couldn't be there at Jerry's Memorial. He was a wonderful man to know and a blessing to all the artists and people at Atlantic who worked with and for him. Hwe would so have enjoyed this. Good to see again some of those familiar faces, too.

Purdie's great but I'm Jemmott-a-holic. I wish Jerry, Purdie and Dupree would do a series of clinics around the country.
