The release date for this game was pushed back cuz the original development was halted. Another video game company picked up the abandoned project and it should be out late 2009n or early 2010. It will star Jack Black (one of my favorite musicians) as the voice of the lead role. I cant wait!

Your facts are all over the place. The game was halted way back when because Activision pulled all funding on Tim Shafer (The creator). Tim then tried for a few years to find a publisher, only to get turned down to activision preventing it from coming out. Soon EA bought Tim's team which allowed him to keep working on it which is why it's getting ready to be released, the project was NEVER dead. Ever. Also it's coming out this october :0!
