You're really good, but you're a little nasal on some parts. Try practicing by holding your nose while singing, and every time ur nose vibrates while you're singing start over. I know it sounds silly but it works. Oh and on some of your words you need better diction. Other than those 2 things you're great. Don't push your voice too hard, thats how you ruin it.

Whom ever you are singing, I just want to let you know that you should give American Idol a first chance. lol I just believe that you have what it takes to compete with the other singers, just hearing your voice spells the hope that I see. My only advice to you if you seek any to know how to be first in the Ameican Idol as number one is to keep on singing and to never hold back, because the others aren't going to hold back either; give it everything you have. i think it's a good cover, and you did a great job.. but personally i don't think your voice is really a good choice for this =/ i mean no offence but it sounds like you're singing through your nose and it kinda ruins it. you're good.. make no mistake, but i think you just need to choose something that suits your voice a little more darlin. other than that =p keep it up. =D

I agree with holycrapabanana (lol never thought I'd utter a sentence quite like that one :D ) It's very obvious when you "sing from your throat". You get a really nasally sound when you sing and you become very restricted in where your voice can move around in the song. It can eventually hurt your chords. Sing from your diaphragm and just let go without holding back.  It takes a while to get comfortable doing but it's worth it. :) That being said...Awesome job you two!

Oh! Also, if you don't want to wear out your voice or hurt your chords, be sure to do some vocal and breathing exercises. Breathing exercises alone can be done anywhere and drastically help your performance. I mean a large percentage of singing and stuff is breathing right? Your voice is already really good. It's time to make it incredible :)
