thats why you put your ap into int. (for magic damage)

and if you wanna use ur magic attacks you need to put sp into it then drag the skill into a hotkey o.O

Luk isnt for accuracy. Mages are weak at damage per second on a single target, but thanks to their ultimates they deal the most damage in game with a single attack. :D Rest you said is true.

Yeah if it trains fast for you, you should do that. But which job are you? Because it's not smart to do the KPQ at lvl. 21. You will find very strong beasts there and because you magic guard (if you are a magician) isn't lvl 20 or something King Slime wil 2 Hit Ko you.

Thunderbolt has a very, very low attack at the first levels. Everyone hits low with it, just put 3 points in it every level. And don't forget to put 1 poin in Teleport! It's really useful! (Even in PQ's)

Even though I am becoming a Cleric, I suggest the Ice/Lightning Wizard job. Your Cold Beam freezes enemies and allows you to get breathing room and does nice damage and your Thunderbolt attack is great against mobs. If you have lots of mesos for pots, training Thunderbolt up first. If you need to conserve mesos, go with Cold Beam. You'll level slower but you can do much more damage to a single enemy and can solo well. So in essence, Cold Beam -> Solo and Thunderbolt -> Mobs and Parties.

There is no "best".

I/L is the most powerful during the 2nd job.

F/P is the least popular of the magicians, but is the most powerful 3rd job. Least popular meaning less people choose it.

Cleric are generally used for parties, as a method of other funding other characters (i.e thieves, bowmen, warriors, or sometimes even other magicians), or as a way to leech other characters with HS. Some people just enjoy playing as clerics, however.

It really depends on what appeals to you.
