My inval8id wife had her iPhone 4 stolen out of her lap not long ago and the scum suckin maggot was smart enough to turn it off and then reset it on a PC some where so "find my iPhone" is not the be all end all of tracking unfortunately

My friends iPod had been stolen :( I told him at his house he should get this feature (before it had been stolen) and he said no it won't happen. Well it did. About 3 weeks later it had been stolen when his mom left the doors of the car unlocked. They saw the SUV and thats it. My first thought. "GET THE FRICKING LICENSE PLATE!"

Well they didn't and they haven't found it yet. I have been able to send notives through text+ but they haven't returned. Congratz on finding yours! :)

when u have an iphone you need to make sure you sign up for the feature "track my phone" if you have a mobileme.com account (you should get one just for this feature alone )it automatically has that feature and will give you a gps of your iphone if it is still turned on.

My Google Phone has the same feature. I can also wipe all the data from it remotely, so the thief doesn't have access to all my person information. I hope I never have to use it!
