The review didn't have any direction. It was a history lesson. The images didn't correspond to the review at all. Too much background noise / clapping of hands, which should never happen.
It can easily be argued this is the best MMORPG of all time. WoW is the biggest, but as far as best, most dynamic, I still give the nod to EQ (probably because it was so new to the gaming world).
anyone who passes on a game because it doesn't have "Good Graphics" is missing out of every great game ever made. Graphics mean nothing compared to game play.
Everquest graphics own WoW's and it was made 10+ years before. Unfortunately it has lost players due to many reasons. EQ2 has the best graphics in gaming and it is now playable free if you wish
I ask the same as comedybenj posting plus want to add- Is Titanium the best way to play again with EqEmu? I know there's a monthly charge with that and am VERY interested in playing again... any legit answer that isn't meant to urticate I'd appreciate it; thanx. Where is EQ: Titanium purchasable, GameStop has it?
@comedybenj yes, actually it has a brand new expansion coming out, and it's available from steam with all the expansions for either all of them for 39 or all of them except the newest one for 19. I don't think there are many new players on anymore though...
@hyper672 EverQuest isn't free. You have to pay monthly. BUT there is a free server online you can google, called Shards of Dalaya. That's free, but everything else isnt.
Ahhh, the memories. I left a mudd called Dragonrealms to join EQ.
EQ will always have a special spot in my heart and the music brings back a lot of those memories. Currently playing EQ2 which I do like but there really was something special about the original EQ. Still tempted to play it at times.
