People who say there is no point to the DSi XL are just missing out. There's so much more to the XL than you think. The bigger screens allow you to see the game better, it looks gorgeous with the larger screens. Plus, instead of trying to write on such a small screen with such a small stylus, you have so much more stylus space on the XL. Not only is the XL bigger, but it has better sound, up to 17 hours game play max, better sound quality, and so much more. You guys don't relize what ur missing.

i wish i could upgarde my DSi to XL.... i already have a 3DS though but playing DS games on the 3DS doesnt feel NATURAL... people say to me once i tried the larger DS screen i will never go back to smaller once...

Have you notice in the advert. They put a Ds Lite to compare the screens against the Ds xl. Instead of a Dsi, because there not much difference. The screen is slightly bigger.

The screens up against Ds Lite are huge.

It's not only the screen, it also comes with a bigger stylus so you can have a good grip on it and it comes with one extra game from the dsi game shop and better qualities so if you have a dsi this beats your ass or if you have a ds
