This duet was extremely difficult to perform well, even for a skilled singer like Renee. At this age, Renee's singing voice was even sweeter than Stacy's and almost as sweet as Marta's. Renee was irreplaceable because most girls can't develop a sweet singing voice until they are much older than Renee. Sandstrom is a common name in Sweden. It means "sand(y) river" in Swedish. It does not mean "sandstorm." There should be two dots over the letter, "o," in Sandstrom.

Renee was my fav on this show. And this one was one of my fav episodes. She did great as a brit. Just Love her.

Renee was an awesome performer on this show, who is mostly overlooked. It's sad, because she was the most consistent of all of them. The most believable, in terms of acting, and certainly the most heartfelt... especially when it came to ballads. This was a beautiful example of her talents early on. A wonderful showcase of her range... this remake ranked in the top five of her best performances on the show. Congrats, Renee! Loved it!! :)

We Don't know why she wasn't renewed. Maybe she grew up too much and wouldn't fit in. Rhassan Paterson looked really out of place his last year on the show. Actors on this show can "age out" I would have loved to see more of her

The weird part was the British accent. I mean, British musicians usually don't have an accent while signing! I guess it was to distinguish between "Renee" and "Samantha".

Perhaps, though the accent thing could be a case-by-case (or artist-by-artist).

For example, Rebecca St. James & Darlene Zschech (two popular Christian singers from Australia). Zschech's accent isn't easily noticeable when she sings. On the other hand, Rebecca St. James' accent is pretty obvious even when she sings.
