My mother was one of maybe five people I've known in my whole life who I would call a true Christian, and to see the way the people she thought of as her family treated her is quite possibly the biggest portion of my reasons for not still being a Christian myself. I figure that I can have a better relationship with the divine if I have it without all the hypocrites who "confess God with their lips and then deny him with their lives." I think the lyrics to God Thinks from Voltaire are appropriate
"The AntiChrist is a group of People." I've never thought of that. Clever.
The AntiChrist does mean Anti=Opposite and Christ=holy, pure ect. So it be those who are opposite of Christ's teachings. Anybody come to mind?(Fred Phelps, Shockawenow, Yokeup, I could go on and on.)We'll most of these people are more Idoitic then Evil. (^^)
Let's face it, Jesus spent most of his time hanging out with prostitutes, thieves, lepers and other social outcasts. He'd have no time for his so called followers.
People DO come back from the dead, but often with moderate drain bammage. Jesus Christ and his teachings are nice ideas that were taken FAR too literally, not real people.
Just like Buddha, who allegedly made a clay bowl float UP a raging river. I like the ideas and teachings, but I don't think he was a real person.
About the whole rising from the dead and walking on water thing. I believe that to be false by the error of misunderstanding slang in other languages. The bible is man made and very similar to the 'telephone' effect, you know.. ear to ear to ear, and it's bond to get messed up somewhere. I believe Jesus was a very evolved spirit to pass through at a certain time to just teach love and life. And like always, man found a way to fuck it all up for the rest of us and make him into a cult. lol.
hmm,...the anti-christ are the christians....wow, i never thought of that!O.O

The anti-christ as the current mainstream church?
Intriguing idea. Not particularly scriptural, but still interesting!
Oh, wait... "fundamentalists"? That might mean me!
Hmm... Still, interesting idea, definitely unique.

Amen ... your ending remark reminded me of my End Times video and why I got no fear of those days.

Jesus was a muthafukkin' thug, yo! lol!
I'm starting to think that he never actually existed.

Me too, something about all that coming back from the dead, walking on water, turning water to wine stiff just doesn't sit well with me.

In regards to your comment about Christians not acting like Christ. There's a saying:
Rome didn't convert to Christianity,
Christianity converted to Rome.
