I think it is first important to understand that these girls are Catholic. Not Christians (though they say so). Christians follow the teachings of Christ, Catholics follow the teachings of the Pope which are BASED on some of the Bible's teachings and twisted to suit the hierarchy. Furthermore, modern day Catholicism is based more on ritualistic fashion than true spirituality.
