I think what yu are talking about are the TAIL FLAPS. When a plane is pitching upward, the tail flaps move up, not the tail itself. When you say the tail of the aircraft, you are referring to the entire back portion of the plane that is where the elevators/rudder are. Please go to my (pathetic) channel and watch my short video.

Through my 2 years of experience flying real planes, I can tell you for certain that when a plane pitches up, it looks like this: (I am using an iPad, so the formatting is probably messed up)

@eai321 I'm not a programmer so i can't be specific about why, but the Ipod16gb is not enough to handle the game correctly. RcPlane 2 works on Ipod Touch 3gs 32gb and 64gb, tho.
