  • There are much faster guitar players. But I see no feeling at all in those metal players who make the guitar strings buzz like bee's wings. SRV was amazing.

  • guys, could we just stop discussing and arguing and just enjoy to this piece of good music?!?

  • just amazing stevie rude mood!! great classic

  • BRAVO MAESTRO!!!!!!!!!!

  • buckethead's a shredder. a horrid kind of "guitar player" that people have to deal with. light as hell strings, shitty amps and tone, plus no feeling whatsoever. plus, their biggest trick is something a person could pick up in less than an hour. (tapping? that's easy bullshit)

now, to be able to play like stevie, that'll take you years. you may memorize his solos by using stupid tabs and shit, but to have his feel and tone, would take someone a lifetime.

to play like buckethead: 1 hour. :P

  • @traigogoodmusic You clearly don't play guitar or listen to Buckethead. You have probably listened to one song if even. You should gain a sense of music.

  • @danukenator123

hahahahahaha yeah i've never played guitar before, but i know how to shred... hahaha. oh wait... that makes sense! most shredders don't know how to play the guitar! that shit takes an hour to learn! HA

  • @traigogoodmusic You just admitted you didn't play guitar. Therefor you have no standing to comment on playing. Also, it figure a person with no qualification would go around trashing other musicians.

  • @danukenator123 it's funny cause there's a thing called "sarcasm". apparently shredders don't know what THAT is either.

  • @traigogoodmusic You are pulling the sarcasm card? You weren't being sarcastic, you were just being stupid and are giving a last ditch effort by claiming it was all in the name of sarcasm. You're nothing more than a failed troll.

  • Pretty amazing instrumental, but I still think his version of Lenny is the most beautiful piece of guitar I have heard

  • O.O I like to jam with my band, sometimes we play the blues. And i like to play the blues fast. But when i see this! OMG my blues is realy slow REALY REALY slow if i compare it with this. SRV is master of blues.<3

  • love this song "RUDE MOOD", when stevie plays it he puts you not in a "RUDE MOOD" in a great "MOOD" SRV RULES

  • What's great about this, and (youtube kept taking it down, and ppl put it back up) wonderful is that it was the second version that night at Austin City and Stevie was angry as heck at the first version-it was also up here for a while-is that a collective of little moments in time make all the difference. This is now the definitive version of this.

If I'm down or in a bad mood, it's this, favorited once again until YT takes it down again.

  • Most players play everything they know in one song. This man had many songs to play with. Todays players use software, can't even play to E string. Go suck it, you bags of...did I say shit?

  • God bless Stevie Ray

    We miss you, man!

  • Who is buckethead?

  • I love this so much I need to rewind it and play it alll over again! This is GREATNESS!

  • if you diss stevie you should get skull fucked with a bag of nails

  • his last name is vaughan not vaughn

  • woot Stevie RIP yall dont know shit about austin city limits!!! Texas is the best country

  • This is the best instrumental song ive ever heard. Hands down

  • Steve Ray Gaughin

  • I love this show, wish there was a whole dvd of this one show... and not just the 3 tunes on the Live from Austin dvd

  • Stevie was fuckin amazing!!! Good fuckin display of what you can do it a slightly overdriven guitar. Seen some guitarist fail at clean guitar verses hiding mistakes behind all kinds of distortion. Not that distortion is not good. love it.

  • What i think was awsome is all that he put into the song and how.

  • good rockabily sound to it

  • If there are any guitar players getting frustrated on this one i was too for years. BUT

I recently traded for a Hot rod usa 62 reissue and it's huge neck combined with a big bottom string set(52-E) it became doable and is now on my setlist.

  • dosent matter there was a link down the side for voodoo child under a diffrent name doe

  • sum1 tell what gig this is cause he does voodoo child on it and its mint but i cant find it so guna need to know what gig is it

  • austin city limits.

  • Thanks bro. i have all this show. but its VAUGHAN not vaughn :)

  • wtf no one in the house is even moving... id be that one dude hollerin

  • They are in shock and disbelief!!

  • if u notice,, rude mood is the same chord progression as pride and joy but faster.

  • Yeah theyre both shuffles in the key of e flat just like im cryin

  • pretty much for the intro shuffle but some notes are different.

  • mmmm the BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MASTER for ever... RiP Stevie...

  • this probably my fav stevie song

  • hmmmm...

    no.

  • i'm going to try and learn this song :D

  • funny, he makes it look easy

  • this is really of another world

stevie ray vaughan is the best guitarrist on the world!"

  • Vaughan

  • the best!!

  • Memo from God:

"My children, I lent you Stevie for a while but now I need him back"

We will never see the likes of Stevie again at least not in my lifetime. The man was amazing. His passion is what is missed.

We Love you Steve. RIP Bro.

  • The only human to ever master the electric guitar without any knowledge of music theory . SRV = GOD

  • The Ultimate Dream Trio: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

  • in nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti

  • What does that mean?

  • father, son and holy ghost

  • Who's the father, who's the son and who's the holy ghost?

  • hendrix, clapton, SRV.

  • I totally agree!

  • father = Clapton cuz he's still around

son = SRV because he's dead :'( would = Father is still around

holy ghost = hendrix just cuz :P

  • lol as much as i want to yell at you for sayin jimi is the spirit lol i love the way u ordered them lol and i'm like rally laughin hard lol....nice man :P

  • hendrix = holy ghost cuz he basicly started the revolution of the blues/rock :D

  • dude hendrix wuz alright but vaughan wuz way better.

  • GOD GIVEN TALENT

  • This is one of the best guitar songs ever!I've been practising this song a lot and I'm getting very close. He cleaned up but he didn't lose his way of playing.I think he even got better. This is his best performance of Rude Mood.

  • too much mojo for this world to handle 1 of the last new age bluesmen

  • brian setzer and him never jammed...would have been awesome...

  • See Texas flood 9:34

  • Stevie's the man.

Imagine what the future could've held for him had he never been killed.

  • He'd still be here in Austin, nice as he was back then;there wouldn't be as many hi-tech dorks here. The background would be the same skykine.

  • Stevie Ray was actually God.... and God is dead.

  • this guy totally ruled; he was head and shoulders above his bro, who is really very good.

its a shame he is no longer w/ us. its ironic that he gets his act together (alcohol n drugs), cleans up, and ends up dying in a helicopter crash.

if he hadn't traded copters, eric clapton would no longer be with us right now.

  • That's so true because a whole lot of people said that when he was OFF the sauce, he was sooo much better both as a guitarist and a vocalist.

  • ya know im definitely as big an srv fan as anybody can be. and im really grateful that he cleaned up when he did and was able to make more music. but i liked his style better when he was out of it like in el mocambo...wow! there's just a little more fluidity, rawness, and fullness to the sound at that time in his career for me.

  • sadly I gotta agree with you. There was an extra something to his playing then

  • well being the great and expressive player he was, whenever he played he let everything he had in him just pour out on the guitar and every note ive ever heard him play has always been a shocker

  • "Rude Mood" is Stevie Ray Vaughan's best song.

  • i've certainly learned alot from it

  • ok bucket head is a great guitarist but they play totally different styles stevie isnt a noob at all and they dont kiss his ass because buckethead is joke to mankind

  • did you really just say buckethead is better than stevie? stevie plays better than this buckethead character inn his grave....just listen to his name, buckethead....its evident how horible it is....i want you to explode....you obviosuly have no taste and ! omg....seriously....NEVER INSULT STEVIE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!!! ok, calm down...sorry, i just hate idiots...

  • Dude, why the hell would you compare Buckethead to SRV. no one can play the srv does, just like no one can play like anyone else. They each do their on thing well, but trying to compare them both is just stupid.

  • @FenderCatchingFace no shit, those are two totally different players.

  • @guitarthroat That's what I'm Saying.

  • @guitarthroat Oh, I was just agreeing with you. These fucking Bozos on here that argue about this shit need to get lives. Makes you wonder if these dip-shits that argue on this site ever got pussy in their entire lives.

  • Buckethead does already sound like an insult.

  • aha!! Got your back on this man!!

  • Greatest... EVER

  • [dies] That is so amazing!!! To think he got booed off the stage in his first hello at the Montreux Jazz Festival. After that, they were then kissing his ass.

  • he wa booed? oh send me the video or post a link please i wanna see the people who actually booed him and are now payin there price in hell!

  • Use "Stevie Ray Vaughn" and "Rude Mood" as your search terms.

Besides, no need to worry about the feeble-minded retards who booed him. The pukes are eternally preserved for history as a total embarassment to the Festival.

  • they booed him of stage because it was acoustic night at the jazz festival and they were expecting something light and soft core but instead he came on fully amplified. they didnt boo him because he sucked they just were not expecting something so loud and insane as him

  • I second to that ...
