Thank you so, so much for uploading these clips. It is seriously making me consider buying the boxset. I upload them to my Facebook page randomly from time to time. I agree you cannot call it great. It simply is. In Lak 'ech
@beijingbro Indeed. Tao is beyond all words, concepts and meaning. In fact, any talk of Tao is like deceiving a child with an empty fist. Nevertheless communication, with all its inadequacies, is often enough to get one started on the Path. Then when Tao is truly understood, as Chuang Tzu advised, all words can be forgotten.
Why is there NO dialogue on current TV series that gives INSIGHT or WISDOM. Is everyoen so self centered of close minded that all the network goons can approve is CSI type dialogue?
@Psy0psAgent Icant...it is BLOCKED...clogged. I need a REIKI healing....I SEE nbut right now.. IAM BLIND..but not DUMB to the DEAD ZOMBIE broadcasts on network TV. Anything that can bring Enlightenment is considered subversive..Keep the masses in line with the same old and they will cotninue to watch the same old and think that is all there is :)
Thanks for uploading these. I just recently found them and have been watching them through the day, reflecting. I am going though stuff of my own and watching these helps me put things into perspective and helps me learn things about myself. Or maybe I am over thinking things and just got caught up in all the deep thinking. haha
Thank you my friend, but the accolades should really be directed at the actors, writers and producers of this thought provoking TV show.
I just hope posting these clips here makes people more aware of the wonderful wisdoms contained within the Eastern philosophies. There is a much better way than always trying to force and control others
We should live because we understand and love life; not because we are scared of death!
Isn't it interesting that modern physicists are unlocking the mysteries of the universe today, and what they finding conforms with what ancient Taoists sensed thousands of years ago.
Eastern philosophy recognised that our sensory awareness is extremely limited and things are actually different to what they seem.
With the advent of the 2 relativity theories and quantum physics, science came to the same conclusion. We merely see the world how our senses allow us to see it.
Science found solid things are mostly empty; time both speeds up and slows down; and any sense of permanence is an illusion.
Chuang Tzu said, we live in a dream like existence.
I've been looking at the Kung Fu series site and realise there are a lot of forgotten gems to rediscover...my memory disc drive only has a few strong images of the series..although its overall effect has left an impression on me, as others who now recapture the videos ..thanks to your postings.
Do you have anything from Forbidden Kingdom? Caine in Tibet.
To help out, this scene is from "The Cenotaph: Part 2", Season 2, Episode 23.
I believe Forbidden Kingdom refers to the hourlong documentary featurette on the Season Three set. It's quite something-- David Carradine (who is a character in and of himself) visiting locations in China.
I may be able to help out with it in a week or so.
It's interesting that you posted this video because I was just studying Chapter 25! Thanks once again for the wonderful commentary - if only we all would look at the world with the eyes of a child!
I'm glad you like this one. I always write my commentaries from my heart and only write what I personally perceive to be the egoless truth. Nevertheless, people must be willing to find the truth for themselves and this is best done by rediscovering the truth-seeking child within us all.

this is all hollywood taoism... they were making it far more mystical than it really is..
the tao that can be named is not the eternal tao... it isn't "great". you cannot name the tao any more than you can count to infinity...

Hahaha. I guess we all have to think too much initially to be in a position to realise it's futility.

Hi Nik and thank you.
When Mr McBurney said to Caine, "Say something" and Caine replies, "Something.... I at first thought this was all he was going to say! :-)
Have you seen these episodes? They are really out of character compared to all the others.
