Tsukuyomi is the ultimate genjutsu, amaterasu is the ultimate ninjutsu, and if you think about it, susanoo is the strongest taijutsu. Only reason sasuke lost is he just started using the mangekyou, and he's only freaking 16 yrs old, and he's taking on 5 kages who have been training non-stop for like 30 years.
Amaterasu isn't the best ninjutsu ever, it is up there, but not the best. It is merely the best fire technique, and when Naruto is in Sage Mode his Body Flicker may be able to dodge Amaterasu, like the E, but we don't know right now. As for Tsukuyomi, pfft, I bet Sasuke doesn't even know he has it, lol, he hasn't used it once even though the fight vs. Raikage could have been easier with it. Itachi's torso was ast least 2x the size of sasuke', and his had a full body, and his had the skin, along with the armor, and the shield, and sword. So all and all, itachi's susanoo is like 4x as large as sasuke;s, it has skin, it has armor, along with the inpenetrable shield that repels any attack, and the spirit sword, which is the strongest sword ever.
That manga shows that maybe Susano is not too powerfull, or, sasuke couldn´t control it right OR indirect atacks can overcome it. Like de corrosive gas of Mizukage. Thats because none tecnique is invencible

naruto got his ass saved by the nine tailed fox in his fight with pain. he was on the ground pinned with pains sword things and couldnt move. it was only his anger that brought out the fox and enabled him to escape. both characters got their asses saved in one of their biggest fights. but your right, naruto is probably better overall than sasuke, but sasuke is second strongest.

This is just a theroy but i have feeling that the power that Itachi gave Naruto is going to mutate into something simalar that the 10 tails has in eyes. If you look at the spoiler pick of the 10 tails. his has are shaped like the 9 tails. and looks like a cross between the sharingan and the rinnagan. I think that Naruto eyes are going to be simlar to that. But it is just guess I want know for sure until i read in the manga.

Sasuke left with the intent to kill his brother Itachi (redundant in it's own right). He found no growth in Konoha, where Naruto developed a bond with his team to become stronger, where Sasuke sort paused and didn't know where to go. So Orochimaru was his best bet to start that new journey, even if it meant sacraficing his whole life to orochimaru (well we all know orochimaru got a huge suprise out of that). So clearly we don't know who is stronger until another duel, if there even is one??

@Livingtonu; it's possible. If you think about it, when the Sage of the Six paths chose which of his two sons would rule, they split up.
One brother would start the Senju clan, and the other would start the Uchiha clan.
But the Uchiha clan is the only one at that time with a dojutsu (eye technique).
So maybe it was derived from the 10 tails..

You can counter a Ms Sharingan user by using a shadow clone as a diverson. Kakishi proved that. You can counter the sharigan by wacking the user from behind. The old lady Sand elder said that. Chordi can be countered by the Rasagan. Full body Chadori can be countered by the FRS. Fir style jestu can counterd by water. lighting can be counter by wind. So Naruto can counter every move Sauske got.
