Whats wrong with snow? If people took the time to install winter tires and made the effort to adjust their driving habits none of this would happen. I visited my Aunt and Uncle in Orlando and it's not just hot it's really humid plus the drivers suck.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico so no snow there, I lived in Northern Virginia until past april so I got the horrible February blizzards. I don't miss the snow at all. I now live in Florida and I prefer the tropical weather way more than creepy snow season when people do absolutely nothing. In places where it snow people have to wait for the summer to do things outdoors. That is quite boring

Boring!?!? I love my beautiful homestate. Whoever told you that probably lives in the swamps or somewhere along the northern Florida state border or panhandle, which is mainly country folks. The south east Florida area is the place to be, which is the territory south of Okeechobee Lake and east of the swamp (Everglades). I'm military and I was stationed in Colorado, hate that place...to far north and waaay to west for me.
I would never live in Florida. It is way to hot and humid down there and there's always a threat for hurricanes. It might not be really hot in the summer (Never goes above 100) but the low temperatures in the summer are always around 80 degrees!!!

lol at the people saying "enjoy your hurricanes". I actually do enjoy hurricanes, they're exciting and most of the time not so bad. The media blows them completely out of proportion. Getting a strong cat 4 or 5 is a rare occurrence and those are the bad ones, until one of those come by I will continue enjoying my hurricanes. :)

Let's be honest..50's (F) is a common temperature in Florida for winter, sometimes we get lucky and get a few days of 40's and 30's ( 0-16 celcius)which is a decent amount of cold for a Tropical place.

I agree that the threat of hurricanes can be exciting, however, when the power goes out and you're stuck in your house, apartment, whatever in 85*-98* heat & humidity for days, well, that part sucks. (Unless you're one of the fortunate ones who has a generator, then it's bearable, but even then, after a few days of dealing w/ that, it's no fun.)
