Or did you just not include her "Power of Love" skill because it's not an actual attack? Cuz' that skill saved my ass throughout the first Disgaea and through the latter portion of Disgaea 2. =P

Yeah. Most characters who had support skills in the past lost them. Rozalin, for example, had her Kneel Before Me. Strangely enough, though, Main Hero B's Power of Masochism is just Power of Love with a different name. Don't know why they took it away from Flonne and gave it to Main Hero B.

Hmmm... I think you have forgotten about certain attacks, like Desco's second Magichange skill (Balmung) and two of Asagi's skills, one in which she goes gunfights the targets Matrix style, and another in which she catapults everyone into sky, then blasts them back down and carves the word 'Asagi' into Earth with a satellite cannon.

In regards to Desco, I'm well aware of that as you can see in the description. As for Asagi, those are the skills of the HD Asagi DLC. The Asagi you get in-game is different.

The only one I can think of is Fallen Angel Flonne, but that's only if you preorder the premium edition from gamestop or NISA store and as far as I know, she hasn't been available outside of the preorder bonus in Japan. HD Asagi might become free later since all the money for her is going towards earthquake relief.

The reason Disgaea is failing is because they won't advance the series any. They keep putting the old characters in the games, I think that is hurting the series and cheapening it. It needs to move forward. No more Flonne, Laharl, and Etna. If they want to make a game with those characters, they should just make one separate from the main series.

Failing? How? Disgaea gameplay has advanced with each and every game and in the case of Disgaea 4, the graphics have too. I don't see how putting in old characters is hurting or cheapening the series, especially when they only show up in the post game unless they really have a real role in the main game like Axel and Flonne in Disgaea 4. I know people are tired of Laharl, Etna, and Flonne always showing up but it's definitely not hurting the series.

Yes, Marona got a complete set in DHD. Big Star and Salvatore, by the end of Raspberyl Mode, have only two and only one without Raspberyl Mode.

I think NI is trying to make all character skills offensive rather than supportive because DLC Rozalin lost her Kneel Before Me as well and no one has a unique support skill. And yes, I really wish NI would give Flonne Divine Ray or something similar. I think the only the close to that in recent memory was her Light of True Love from Trinity Universe.

Well, in this game, you get Fallen Angel Flonne as exclusive DLC and you eventually get Archangel Flonne in the post game.
