This is quite sloppy, it lacks groove and assertion. This is Slayer and you play it with the same nonchalance than Meg White. (She's a great drummer, but plays in the White Stripes, which is stylistically quite different). Relax, get into the groove instead of smiling at the camera and hit those fucking skins. God, you're barely hitting those bass drums. And loose the high heels... Jesus...

i get a good bass drum sound, by combining a normal bass drum mic and putting a SM81 right on the beater, but don't em hit it of course. blending those together gives you the percussive slap and the low bass drum part.

There's an expensive nice drum kit, a good looking girl, and some effort in recording a decent video. The crowned princess drum throne is a little over the top considering MOST of the snare drum is NOT on time with the recording you're playing over.. sounds like a lazy flam. this is part of the problem of playing to heaphones (ipod) instead of a metronome.you're 99.9% there Lux so tighten it up.. don't hate cause I'm not like every other douche bag concentrating on how pretty you are..

@mrtwinkletoes75 Actually it's not my playing, the snare "flam" you're hearing is a combination of using an ipod (to listen to the music while recording) and recording the drums using a different device. When you take both audio files they don't sync up because they're different machines, different brands, and their internal "clocks" aren't the same. Now you know. :)
