  • A bit of advise, if you upload a video with the original sound don't put any music over it because the music and the sound is a noise just the orignal sound of the movie or music not both

  • You guys really like response videos.....

  • great song, (shinedown)

  • FireMedic561;

hum you dunno what your talking about! firefighters save people. also my uncle is the fire chief there so stop running your mouth. all the firefighters at Drexel Hill work very hard.

  • Can I ask why you guys smash out the windows of a house before you can be sure that all flames are gone?

  • livy dont btoerh hes stupid...u kno u doin good by contributing to society...hes a couch potatoe critiq ure winning in life and he thinks he is..theres a difference there

  • FireMedic561

You just love running your mouth

Grow a set and call the station

    we would love to chat

  • well there firemedic you are the one with no life.....you are the one posting comments and looking through these so called " Dream VIdeos" so it appears that you are the loser who needs to get a life.

  • Another person just better off keeping there mouth shut - FIREMEDIC561

  • i believe this station ran about 680 calls last year, and within the last month theyve done about 40 calls so b4 you start bashing a ALL volunteer company who has pride in what they do know who your talking about

  • BORING!!

  • ok yeah boring....they worked long and hard on this video so keep the negative comments to yourself

  • That's what happens when you get a bunch of volunteers together. They have nothing better to do than make boring videos of what they WISH life was like, running calls. So sad.

  • Steve you know far too much about these sirens. Far too much. ;-)

  • LOL I know... thats what boredom does to you...

  • Thanks for the update.

  • As far as the ladder goes, it will be repaired. There are a few estimates as to the time frame, but no deffinites yet. The seagrave personnel are working on the ladder, and will get it back in service as soon as possible. There will be a lot of updates, but im not gonna ruin the surprises for anyone. Thanks for asking though.

  • Yes!!! lol that is the Sterling M. And it is kinda uncommon in this area. Also for those that may be interested, our federal model 3t22 is due to go back up in a few weeks. It will operate as a 2t22 however, and is used for non structure runs. It has 3 upcycles, while the sterling M does a whopping 10 cycles!!!!!! But we manually stop the M most of the time unless it is a building or rescue assignment.

  • so you guys will have two then?

    Was it like that before?

  • Yepp. It was like that for years until a lightning storm struck the Federal 3t22 destroying the motor. This was probably about 5 to 6 years ago now. Since then we have contuinued to use the the Model M and just stopped it after one cycle for non structure calls. The Federal 3t22 has come back from the shop, and will go back up as soon as we get a crane available. It will return to blowing 3 times for non structure runs.

  • oh. You may not know but i run for 16, we have i believe a federal 2t22, were supposed to be getting one of thoose Federal modulators or something to that nature. i hate thoose things. I like the old mechanical ones better.

  • Sorry for the late reply all. Thanks again to everyone that has been checking the video. We are still working on getting some more clips for you. We have a bunch cut and edited, just getting ready to upload.

  • Also what kind of fire siren was that you have on your house?

  • Sterling Model M

  • Thanks. It looked like a Carter only larger. The only companies that I know of that have this type of siren are Drexel Hill and Darby 4. They must be very rare. Thanks again.

  • Catawissa, PA has one, too. It's still in use for fire calls, but a newer electronic siren (not sure what it is, but it looks like a Siratone) almost completely drowns it out.

  • Actually relatively common.

  • Well, maybe around YOUR neck of the woods!! (GRIN)

Seriously, where are you from, douro? Sterlings are very rare in Suburban Philadelphia.

  • Kansas, around Mt. Hope

  • Okay that explains it. Thanks. :>)

  • u guys getting a new truck if u dont mide me asking have not herd anythign about it after the accident

  • Nice to see one of my pics made it to the vid

  • THE GRAVEYARD! Awesome response clips! ya should make another one with some pics of retired rigs like the Pierce rescue and the old Seagraves

  • Thanks John, the video needs a little work but we wanted to get it up. We have been working on it for a while, and thanks for the pics.

  • I second FiregroundAudio. Where has THIS video been hiding?? Sorry to hear about the ladder.
