what mame emulator did you use? i'm trying to get audio running at full speed, because audio is kind of bouncing. i currently use mameui, on a toshiba laptop, which one's the best to use.

Just to let u all guys know this is not a MAME game its a single file game.

and its NO emulator...at all either..

One thing i do have this game but as a SINGLE game file install like Warcraft for a sample..

Must have the SINGLE FILE GAME

Find the download and burn it on a disk and install then copy the crack files to c. then Glad wrapper then ENJOY :)

DO NOT USE ISO MOUNT or any other program it will now work!!!!!!!!!!!

@omar1146how is it not mame if he had to insert coins and there was not any loading screens? think. how would he insert coins on a pc port if the coin insert wasnt mapped to a key? besides,he's playing the ORIGINAL rush, the pc port was for The Rock:Alcatraz Edition

I can't even get any of the Rush games to appear in the Mame games list menu. I have the latest 64 bit version of Mame & my PC is as current as you can get, i only built it about two months ago. Same goes for previous versions of Mame that all had those titles in the list when 'All Games' is selected, but when 'Available' is selected it's like they are missing, which they're not. And yes i have the latest roms too.

i only know the game for n64...but this is thousand times better than that. the graphic art is much better and it looks more realistic.i want to have the "arcade machine"!!!

How do you get the sound synced then? Now that i think about it, this might not even be MAME.

@Bigtymer781 Well for me It was because I was using the old method of capturing since it was "faster" for me. That method had a seperate video & audio file. Now I convert to uncompressed AVI and I no longer have any problems. Basically it was human error. I think the resolution you capture in may somehow affect sound performance as well.

@Bigtymer781 Also If you check the other SF Rush videos I put up after this one, You should be able to tell the difference in sound & visual quality if somewhat minimal.

@Ubersnuber Hmm. It was meant to show that it was also for the other systems as well as the arcade. Some people may not have known about the arcade version while searching for the ps1 or the n64 version. Sorry man. Thats just the way any search engine works in general :(

The N64 and arcade Rush had the "awesomest" arcade racer physics ever to run someone into the 15th story of a building. This is THE BEST racer ever made! Midway needs to make Rush games again (the arcade racers, not games like the awful LA Rush)

they were going to make another racing game with these physics called Hot Rod Rebels, unfortuneately, it was cancelled during development. a prototype beta still exists, but is never released.

All those pockets of hidden keys and secret shortcuts mostly comprised of precision physics breaking were all win. WIN I SAY!

I have seen this posted alot so I think I will give you guys some closure, if you want to get the music from SFrush follow these instructions.

1.Go to settings and turn all SFX off, leave only the music.

2.You will need a cam or audio recorder for the next part.

3.Start a game, select your music and record.

4.Wait for the race to end, save your recording and rip the audio from that in an editing program.

5.You will also need a pretty high end PC to do all this and run the game, good luck.

If I knew how I would do it too. Usually in most games you can play the audio when yougo through the Dipswitch settings if your playing through an emulator. I have not tried it with this game.
