FF13 wasn't really that bad its just the enemies have huge stupid amount of health. I love both the old and new FF games, only FF11 and FF14 are so terrible plus I hate all MMO's

I still had a great time with FF13 like I said I love all FF games except for the MMO games.

FF13 did have some boring bits, but the gameplay I think is pretty good, its fast if you can master paragrim switches with great timeing.

FF4/6/7/8 will always be my favourites but I enjoyed all FF games except for FF11 and FF14 I have a serious hate to MMO games.

@Tatix20 I did in fact play through all of 13, and I can safely say that both that game and -2 isnt a FF. They might do fine as other games, but really.. The story, art and characters were so bad. The reason FF did so well in the past, and world-wide was because they could differ from the rest of the japanese market. Now it's just catering to obnoxious japanophiles (and it sells!)

You have to be blind to not realize this, or maybe "people such as yourself" didnt play the older games.

@DarkRikdyou123 Square Enix when they made 12. Squaresoft when they made 10. It matters not, it's still mostly the same developers. FF13 had almost exactly the same team as FF7. The developers didn't change, the companies just merged so they can share profits. Enix only merged with Square because Square were having financial trouble, so there's no reason to hate Enix.

Square were just trying new things and they didn't work too well. It also has a lot to do with development time (in XIIIs case)

FINAL FANTASY IX IS AMAZING. It was plenty dark, and the music was bloody fantastic. Just because it was a Final FANTASY that was more FANTASY-like doesn't mean that it isn't as good as VII or VIII. Also, I'm not saying that i dislike VII or VIII, I love them, but that still doesn't change the fact that IX is also great.
