the blue beatup thing was a relatively new mode to beatup, just like the crazy dance with 11 steps to the normal mode

this blue beatup mode was introduced to TW through the patch dated June 4 2007, so, note the video's post date

urmm not so long ago (: like 9 months? i think i think more o-o like 11 or 10 9-11 months or so o__o i could chance when i was lvl 8 and my first 0 miss song was heavy medal and i think that was at lvl 12 o__o now im lvl 23 ;D ( just turned lvl 23 yesterday) and i could 10 cool 0 bad your already gone.

since you aren't being cocky and aggressive, i'll just point the facts out to you, and the facts are:

1)the arrow-tracks-shortening chance, also known as the "new chance," was invented by KR version around April 07, started existing in some other more advanced versions in around June 07, even later in SEA, etc

however i've actually given up on self-training for audition in around March/April 07, even before I started using any chance at all

and i've quited the game late last year, going into the game sometimes only to find friends that i met in the game

and just for your interest, konami has to pay copyright(if it does) to butterfly's music company for each DDR version that features the song, so konami is far from owning it

paying copyright, or have the song first doesn't mean owning the song, it only means konami has the right to use it. other games/company can pay copyright fee to the owner and use the song to advertise/whatever at the same time konami is using it

I agree, US version got the short bus ride. Can only play the same songs so much, and now I can't log in to the SEA server for some reason(just wont connect) SEA Beat Up is great, the songs are something else, Can Can in Beat Up is umm, Something else :D

if you use the "song variety" : "version's age" ratio, SEA is among one of the worst

US version has a weird tradition that every song is either pure music or sung in english. with this limit, beatup really can't go anywhere in my opinion

listening is a big part of the game mode

to learn how to play a particular song, you have to know when the beats come, usually they follow either the lyrics or the bass drum, the distances between arrows aren't that distinguishable if you play extremely fast/slow songs, you have to listen, and not to mention getting precision after you already know how to play
