@EHMSL1226 The single welter glove is the first prototype we gave Evan. He switches back and forth between that one and his regular game model glove. Only he can tell you why he chooses a certain glove on a given day.

difference between the El3 and the DW5?

@EHMSL1226 There are quite a few differences between these two gloves. First, the EL3 is an 11.75" glove and the DW5 measures 12". Next, the EL3 is an A2000 with Pro Stock Leather and the DW5 is an A2K glove with Pro Stock Select Leather (except for the A2000 DW5-SS, which has Pro Stock Leather and SuperSkin). The EL3 uses a Cross Web and the DW5 uses a Dual Post Web. In the end, it all comes down to the way it feels on your hand! Which do you prefer?

@wilsonballgloves Thanks for the reply! And one of my coaches has an EL3 but ive never had the chance to try on the 2012 DW5. My previous glove was an A2K G4. I love the new thumb pocket on the interior of the new A2000s. Huge improvement! But also ive noticed that Evan Longoria's game glove has only single welting and is a bit more on an orange tan. Why does he prefer single welting?

hey Wilson, I really like the G4 web and the current glove i am using has it. I am wanting to get a new glove now but i want to go up from a 11.5" to 11.75" because i play third base. The problem is the G4 only comes in 11.5". Can i do anything to fix this problem like customizing it? Thanks

Im a college pitcher and have been using Wilson since high school. Its a great glove and breaks in perfectly. However, I wish glove companies would list the weight of the glove on their website and stress the importance of a well built, but light-weight glove.

@garr102 We take the Pro Stock leather used in our A2000 gloves, and use the best 5% of that leather to create the Pro Stock Select leather for our A2K gloves. Have you tried both styles? What do you think?

@swinging276 I've heard that the pro preferred is like the best but if you go cheaper then people recommend an a2000. I have the a2000 1788BSS 11.25", and I love it. It's a great glove and it breaks in pretty fast

i have a problem in my current glove where the finger stalls and wrist opening are way to large and my glove keeps falling of my hand when i go for tags or get a shot grounder and i was wondering if the wilson gloves have improved fit and the formation to your hand where this wont happen any more

If you are a younger player our A2000 Showcase models have a narrower thumb and pinky design for a smaller hand providing optimal leverage for glove closure. Also, our new A2000 DP15GM is one of our new Game Models with a smaller hand opening and rolled welting.

@yahoojunkie3 No information available on pricing yet, but selecting the Pro Stiff option means that the glove won’t be broke in as much at the factory. Our Pro Players prefer a “stiffer” glove to get them through the 160 game season!

are you ever going to make it an option to buy the pro issue a2000 or a2ks? its no secret that we're not getting the EXACT same thing as the pros. i think it would be a good option to put the pro issues for sale even if theyre a little pricier. im not saying the exclusive customs for brandon phillips and what not, but the 1786 1787 1799 1796 and kp92's should be sold in pro issue and vietnam made. i love your products though. youre still way better then rawlings... lol
