@Paintballinmike1 not many people do, get a better picking technique, if ur arm starts to hurt then ur grasping ur pick too hard, try to relax it but keep a relatively firm grip, also dont move ur wrist much, pivot the pick with ur thumb and index finger, if u learn to do this correctly u can play for hours with no pain or tiredness.

In my opinion 1.54 onward is very thrash metal typical, this song definately has some metalcore elements but at the same time has some thrash metal elelments, i wouldent say the elements are so expansive as to cover progressive thrash metal but certainly an interesting mix between Thrash and the intricate melodeys of metal core . Btw who gives a shit its a kick ass song just enjoy :)

Good playing. I can't talk about the difficulty level, for I myself have never played this song and other trivium songs I have only played about... well more like one and a half year ago.

Nonetheless, I must state my opinion on this song being thrash metal, for it is not. It just doesn't have the thrash metal character which songs from Terrible Certainity by Kreator have. That's all I'll leave on that matter.

You just need to keep working on it and you'll build up the speed and endurance over several weeks or months.
