There are no accidents. It wasn't her time yet to become famous. She would have missed that time with her mother. They wouldn't have been as close. It's a gift to be able to take care of a sick parent. I wish I could have been there for my parents when they were dying. I'll always regret that. That's something you can't get back. Her mother may have had to go to a nursing home if it wasn't for Susan. Or perhaps been mistreated. God knew what He was doing.

My feelings are mixed about the song. It's beautiful, but the musical doesn't score points for Biblical accuracy. I'm so glad that the world finally discovered her incredible gift. Her learning difficulties were ADHD and some mild expressive language problems which she has long since overcome. Her main problem has been low self esteem and anxiety from relentless bullying thru her school years, rejection and well meaning but overprotective parents. She still gets anxious but is working on it, I believe.

When they're happy, they will laugh really loud and out of control. When they are angry or sad, they will lose it. They can't really control their emotions.
