Acually the new Su-30 versions are faster and more agile then the Typhoon and also carry more armament and are equiped with thrust vectoring. The Typhoon is still a pretty amazing fighter though.
@CroComm The Typhoon doesn't need TVC, even tho it will soon get it too. It's still the most agile fighter currently out there. The huge canards combined with light weight and high thrust-mass relation make it extremely agile. Plus it's I think the only plane able to survive extended 9G turns.

More agile ??? Who need agility today in 2011??? This atribute brings no adventages in dog fighting. Your figter must have high maneuverabilities if you want have some chances to alife as pilot.
To be agle signifes not that you can do special dog fighting importand maneuvers. You need multiaxis nozzles and special unique aerodynamics to do such a maneuvers. Agility is absolutely unimportand at this point.
