  • does this still work today if so that is epic game gear FTW!!!!

  • could you do another review with you new lcd screen on gamegear please

  • If only sega had said "You can play Xbox 360 games on a gamegear! Xbox 360 sold seperately and not available til 2005!" they would've stomped nintendo in months.

  • OMFG HOLY SHIT!! YOU CAN PLAY AN XBOX 360 ON A FUCKING GAMEGEAR!! WOW!!!

  • I had a Game Gear but it was thrown away. :(

  • @khoraski My dog chewed mine :( still have all the games

  • You should get a digital converter box for that...

  • that game looks fun, looks like you can destroy everything. I love those types of games.

  • AN XBOX, RUNING ON A GAME GEAR. Sega was truly a head of its time.

  • @RocketRaccoon99 AHEAD OF OUR TIME TOO!

  • Hahah, Nice, A gamegear with 360 graphics, now if that was for real, that would be awesome.

  • 04.43. haha dickys real deal lol

  • gamegear with xbox 360 graphics?!

  • @SomeFluffer64 yes

  • @celsinho1987 wow... just wow....

  • I rember haveing mine with my gamegear for christmas . I miss my gamegear now :(

  • That was funny. I always wanted to try something like that, but I was never able to get a TV Tuner. Maybe I'll see if I can find one online. You know, I used to have a 4" portable TV I used for the same purpose. I used to play the PS1 with friends anywhere we could find an outlet. We thought it was so cool. This was before the 5" LCD came out, though, and we all snapped those up. Mine broke. I'm thinking about replacing it. Play PS1 on the go. But with portables having SD slots now...

  • Wow!Great video man!And great memories... ;-)

  • great video

  • LOL, watch the game gear while driving!

  • you sound like the sco-ish guy on the beach

  • or the DS lite

  • @BlueTiger368 this looks cooler. C'mon. it does.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven it does but only for the analog channels there being shutdown thats sucks, for the ds lite that way the ds lite will keep tv with you for the digital channels

  • Good video mate

  • why couldnt that be done with other consoles

  • have you tried the tv tuner out recently? i just watched a review on it by someone else who thought it wouldnt work because everything was digital and his was still picking up stations

  • Could you please tell us what kind of cables and adaptors you use in order to connect the TV tuner to xbox?

  • jesus, a 360 in a game gear lol also the guy under is an IDIOT cause games and systems are meant to be play, not stored in some guy's closet for years just to make an extra $40 more than he paid for.

  • @SNESosT i agree

  • wtf! you asshole! you wasted a collectors item by opening it >:(

  • @sonic3243 it had already been opened before anyways, so why does it matter? it wasn't sealed and or anything..... douche

  • @BenMurderoch sorry. I thought that it was opened.

Like all the people who seem to be buying new Dreamcasts and putting unboxing videos on YouTube... it sickens me. You cannot open a collectors item and use it. If you want to use it, buy a used one.

  • @sonic3243 yeah thats really true cuz eventually they wont be around and worth shit loads

  • @BenMurderoch yup. The new Dreamcasts are meant to be owned as collectibles, not opened for gaming. If Sega still made the Dreamcast, like Sony still makes the PS2, well duh, it's fine to open it and play it. But for people who want a Dreamcast, just find one in really good shape. It's not cool to open stuff like that.

  • when did tv go digital?

  • Did it come the AV in adapter?

  • ghetto!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing lol

  • thank you keep me watching youtube is like my tv remote lol but i really dig your channel

  • i wonder if ill need a converter box for it now

  • Wow, that's cool!

Does it work with the Wii?

  • @A113Pixar I'm sure it will because I saw some guy used it with a N64 and I'm sure it will work with almost everything (except RF systems unless you have a VCR that can use that type of thing).

  • @A113Pixar probably. I would love to se someone playing the Wii on a game gear screen lol

  • You can pretty much do this with every LCD colour monitor providing you have the right RCA cables and adapters.

  • that's so epic XD

  • well if your tv dont work u no watto go to

  • My parents bought me one of these brand new with the tuner and a load of games and some screen magnifier......I wonder how much it cost back then

  • @Lukeschedel

Work began on the console in 1989 under the codename "Project Mercury", following Sega's policy at the time of codenaming their systems after planets. The system was released in Japan on October 6, 1990, North America, Europe and Brazil in 1991,[1] and Australia in 1992. The launch price was $150 US and £145 UK.[1] Sega dropped support for the Game Gear in early 1997.

  • Was this only released in Europe? Because I dont ever remember seeing this here in the United States.

  • Do you sell the stuff you fix on ebay. If so what is the link to your store?

  • wow

  • lol at connecting up the 360

Reminds me of camping out in back garden as teenager with my mate, playing Gamecube via its little screen add-on

  • Now that's awsome being able to play a 360 on a gamegear. Can you play on a portable DVD player if so what do I need

  • I knew about the TV tuner, but the bonus trick you demonstrated was too cool! It's like watching the Game Gear being pushed to it's limits on a hardcore scale. Indeed, a shame the anolog signals are being switched off, as this would have been to see up close and personal.

    Cool video, mate!

  • i use to want one of these in the past too, thats cool u have the box.

  • way cool dude!

  • very cool.

  • soo awesome I always wanted one back in the day but its was way too expensive

  • imagine playing modern warfare 2 "yeah im playing xbox live on my game gear..... LOL

  • what if the gamegear exploded when u hooked it up top the 360.......

  • cool now you can watch ...hmmm! nevermind ...everything is now on hd ..lol awesoem i still want one XD

  • I still have one of these :D

  • thats cool mate can you do it with ps3 too

  • I will have to hook up the 360 of my friend to my 86 Quasar TV, it's just as ironic :) Love it!

Did anyone ever make a GG clone? TV tuner is a neat thing to have, like you say, a collector's item.

  • nice XD they need to remake the game gear it was really ahead of it's time xD

  • Cool, the manual is also in Dutch xD

  • and too bad in america all channels went digital so it won't work her

  • you should like mod your game gear XD

  • @hobodude68 Better than ds, lol

  • would you recommend getting a game gear?

  • Great video

  • Lol That is so cool I would have never thought of that

  • I love your vids
