  • good job

  • Kakkoi purogramu da yo! It's for people who wanna learn Japanese without spending too much for Rosetta Stone lol :D

  • Is shira another word for white?

  • midori is delicious

  • how do i say "i fly for Sri Lankan Airlines" or "i work for Sri Lankan airlines as a Pilot"

  • You are very beautiful. Thanks for the lesson in colors. =D

  • Also Green things go by Blue sometimes.

A green traffic light and a green apple are spoken as they are blue, even though Japanese people know the difference. I forget the reason why though sorry :p

  • So... If pink is actually "momoiro" which means (I think, I'm not good at japanese) "peach color", since "momo" is "peach", and there is an "iro" at the end of "deideiiro"... Is deideiiro also named after a fruit or something? =D

  • あたしの好きな色は青、緑と茶色です(^ ^)

  • These are great XD But, um question, I heard something referring to a baby as "aka-chan" once. Why is this? :O

  • @eggshapedcarrot " aka"'s kanji is "赤”, "aka-chan"'s kanji is" 赤ちゃん” Although they both look the same for the "aka" part, they mean totally different things.

  • what did you say lastly before mata ne?.. =)

  • thanks for your film arigato gazaimasu ! : D

  • watashi no sukina iro wa ao no murasaki desu. :3

  • now I know why Hichigo's (from bleach) last name is SHIROsaki... cuz he's all white

  • This girl is waaaay too pretty. :) I can't focus on the lessons :(

  • Hello hola konichiwa. How are you? I like your channel just one question? I'd like to know to say "my favorite color is green" or something similar I know sometimes you can not translated as is, if is something similar it's ok.. Thank you, Gracias, arigatou gozaimasu sensei...

  • @7thelordismyshepherd : "My favorite color is green" in japanese is " wa ta shi no yi chi bang suki na yiro wa midori desu". You can also say, " midori ga suki desu" which means "I like green."

  • @7thelordismyshepherd watashi no sukina iro ha midori desu.

  • i wonder, i know that peach is said momo, so is pink like peach color? since momo is peach and iro is color? for the original japanese word for pink.

  • Eres hermosa y me encanta tu canal, Saludos desde México. You are a girl beautiful, and i love your channel. Nice to meet you princess. I'm from México.

  • I learned the colors slightly different..

    black - kuroi

    white - shiroi

    orange - orenjiiro

    red - akai

    blue - aoi

    Is there any significant difference?

  • @CyberDoodles kuro, ao, shiro, etc. are nouns, kuroi, aoi, shiroi, etc. are adjectives, so depending on the situation you can use one or the other

  • it didnt sound like her when she said brown 0:52

  • @chanteldaqtpie ikr! It was like she was still in her Japanese mode with her voice xD

  • I am currently a student at college and just about to finish my first semester learning Japanese, I love the language and hope to visit Japan sometime but the way the class is handled is net the best and the fear of getting a bad great is keeping me from signing up for next semester.

    Do you have any tips?

  • how about dark colors? :3

  • Kawaiiiiiiiii

  • So many of the colors are names of Japanese people. My friend had told me that almost every japanese name has a literal meaning. I was just a bit surprised how such common english words can translate to a Japanese name. Now I'm interested to know the literal meaning of names like Akamaru and Aoi. This also explains why almost every anime character named Murasaki has either purple hair or eyes xD.

  • I don't know why, but these videos put me in such a good mood :3

  • Momoiro? Like Peach color?

  • Arigato,Konomi sensei!

My waku waku vocab are expanding already!

    Otsukare sama desu!

    ^_^

  • I guess i am a Chairo person

  • спасибо за ваши уроки!

  • Are there names for colours like violet and turquoise?

  • @treeriders There aren't specific names for those colors. You could use turquoise and violet and probably be understood or you can combine colors like blue and green and create "aomidori". Others include "kimidori" (light green) "akamurasaki" (red/purple) "aomurasaki" (blue/purple) "mizuiro" (light blue/sky blue) and "haiiro" (grey) although "gure" is more common similar to pinku and orenji.
