What short sighted baffoon decided that VSTs and having an interface so complex that you need an engineering degree to figure it out and simply recording a track takes 40 clicks and a secret handshake? I really don't like the snarky tone the narrator takes, assuming that musicians don't have any interest in the technical aspects behind recording. In this day and age, you kinda HAVE to.

Guitar players have been using the same tech since 1960. Keyboard players are the only ones that really NEED to know about the stuff. It's a lot more fun when you do know about it, though.

Same here forget about the other programs i have now i will stop using those ,i will upgrade my Reason to Record Reason .

someone needs to tell me why you cant midi out from this program, i know its for getting that idea out fast but if you have a certain sound u only can get from one of your hardware synth you should be able to sync that sequence to Record, i wish the midi out feature will be in the release , i make hip hop music and i hate when i have to go into protools and sync then go rewire Reason into protools and then add more sounds.

I guess I do not understand. I am thinking you want to Record vocals against a backing track(s). I would create the backing/rhythm tracks in Reason. Then add the Reason tracks to Record. Then record your vocals against it. If you need to put your Recorded vocals to a midi track so you can sequence them with a keyboard, I would chop them up into a Rex file.

Record doesn't support VSTs. You can build most FX yourself though.

nothing external indeed and I love that in Reason already. My computer was basically crashing on everything (even iTunes, Safari or weather in the dashboard!) but not Reason. It kept on running, solid as a rock.

ur gna hav to use good old rewire i suppose dude, im jus hoping that the recording interface is as quick and light as previous reasons, some DAWs are jus abit too clunky
