This sounds rigged. This guys has a customized 2002 Softail and all he can say about it is it's fuel injected and has a paint job.  Most Harley riders as well as Victory riders when ask about their bikes will go on for hours telling you every little detail about their bike and everything they've done to it. This guy doesn't know jack about Harleys.

Haven't rode a victory YET. But as the owner of 4 Harleys I have to say the 80s and 90s Harleys perform better than the later models. Well other than the V Rod. For those who say this is set up or Harleys are better, just keep on riding your Harleys. As for me the next bike I buy will be whichever one seems to me to be the better product. If you ride a Harley and thats all you will ever consider then you probably drive a Chevy or a Ford and feel the same way. 77 FLH, 84 FXRT, 03 VRSC, 08 FLSTC.

you can tell he wants to say he likes the victory better but is trying to stay true to harley. Its also funny seeing what they compare or critisize from my (sport bike rider) point of view. They talk about their hands trying to stay warm, the way the bags look, etc when we compare sports bikes we compare stuff like lap times, hp, etc

You douche...You either appreciate the Harley-Davidson for what it is (a fine piece of craftmanship) or you don't. I have ridden many different "styles" of harley and loved them all! I ride a Street Glide and wouldn't even want to try anything else. He said " Haha I didn't like it, I'm a true Harley person, I own a Harley...It felt like it was breakin' down. What the hell? " I'd make some adjustments, but I don't know what I'd do to it. " Buy the Victory, fits your personality better.

The victory will never have the mystique or longevity or resale value of a Harley, Get a real Harley-Davidson owner to compare the two, not some wanna be biker. @mrome00 I bought my bike to ride, not for resale. I shopped the Victory Cross Country, HD Electra Glide and the Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero...and the Cross Country beat them all hands down.
