if you are shipping with other items in the box/luggage you might want to make sure they cannot puncture HOWEVER, my son says wrap with extra plastic wrap (bizqueen?or saran) for extra protection......

if you get a good seal in the bag with the rubber band it will last a really long time I just pulled some items out of the closet thtat William did over a year ago that were still very compact.

He loves vacuums he takes them apart mostly and makes other things out of them. After seeing the space bags on tv he just messed around until he figured it out with a vacuum that at the time was still in one piece.
