I lived in Whitecrook for a short time when i was a kid. I also know Tom as a friend, The Broo Cue song ( written by Leo Coyle) thats now playing was recorded by myself years ago. Eddie and Leeanne are performing it. The closing of Browns Singers and The Goodyear was a major blow to families in Clydebank. I worked in Dawsons and Singers including Babcocks, The town never really recovered, The Clydebank Council are still heavy in dept due to this sad to say. John Russell, Old Kilpatrick, Thanks
The wall at 1.15 mins has MINKY written on it, I knew him he is from King Street in Whitecrook. Tom McKendrick speaking on this film was my art teacher at Braidfield High School.
I worked in Clydebank Social Security from the mid 70's and it was a busy time for the broo queues. The closing of Browns Singers and The Goodyear was a major blow to families in Clydebank. No matter where I go in the world when I come back to Clydebank I know I am home because my heart tells me so.I love her
