  • You can see the fluid he's leaving from the view from the end of the straight @ 0:33.

  • kawaii

  • Lol.

  • Armco barriers are OK here but those parts of concrete walls in the outside of the corner...that's stupid and dangerous.

Look at the F430 smashing the concrete, no wonder his driver got badly hurt...Steel barriers absorb impacts much better than a normal concrete wall...if you want concrete walling, at least use SAFERs...

  • Porsche is very safe. Nice car!

  • 0:27.. Nice save from the white lambo

  • serious crash, t-bones are most feared, good that all are ok

  • look at the oil leak at 0:33 from the R8GT

  • I like motorbikes.

  • Why of why do drivers not give full respect to the double waved yellows - it means slow right down and prepare to stop. I know their is clearly oil/fluid on the track as an aggrevating factor, but then thats exactly why you should be prepared to stop. The few drivers who did respect the flags made it threw ok (or go nerfed by those who didn't slow enough) - others clearly didn't back off anywhere near enough.

  • If you pause at 0:05 and 0:37 you can clearly see the porsche's boot/tailgate at the front (As it's rear engined) is already up! He stood no chance of ever making the corner!

  • interesting

  • That's like something out of a video game.

  • Thats scary, hope everybody was ok

  • The white lambo at 0:29 must've been pretty surprised when the whole road was covered with car parts

  • The arrow board is supposed to tell you which way to go in order to avoid the accident ahead . This I think is unique in Macau .

  • What's with the arrow boards with the waved yellow flags?

  • Try searching under GT Asia or GT3 Asia

  • new chassis on order , rear end structural crack........lucky it's the last race of the season :)

  • sorry guys , but you have to read my post backwards , like the way I hit the barrier :(

i've posted my in-car as well as the ferrari.....

  • @CraftRacing1 Thanks for the infos. How was your car after that ? I'm guessing she didn't make it, did she ? :/

  • This is one of the worse accidents in Macau in recent years but fortunately everyone is fine and can’t wait to race again there next year. And yes, thanks to the roll cage and the Hans device!!

  • Then came the Ferrari ……the Lambo, so on …..A total of 7 cars crashed within a few seconds apart. You can see the Ferrari’s crash in-car and realize that there’s only one yellow flag show on the right side of the track a couple hundred meters from the corner which is very hard to spot if you’re travelling over 200KMH readying yourself into a blind corner .

  • Then came the Porsche , the car was a bit of distance behind me so he had no idea what was going on in front and braked normally and spun , hit the right side first then straight into the exit barrier .

  • Roll in the corner without throttle then spun my car around to 1) scrub off some speed, 2) hit the barrier with the back of my car cause the fuel tank is in front.

  • I in my Ford GT was only 10 car's length behind him so I was the first car to arrive at the trail of oil. My entry speed was 262KMH when I saw smoke coming out from the R8's rear and i knew i was in deep Shxt ! Knowing that if I braked hard I would have spun around and hit the barriers like a pin ball machine so I applied 30% brake pressure in a straight line then let off and let my engine do the breaking .

  • The accident took place on lap 3 of the race when the Audi R8's oil hose came lose at the entry of the corner and started spraying huge amounts of motor oil throughout the racing line. The R8 driver noticed the problem and immediately parked his car at the nearest safe spot.

  • To those of you not familiar with the Macau Street circuit, the accident took place at the Mandarin corner (where the old Mandarin Hotel was located); it's the fastest corner of the 6+ kilometer circuit with a blind exit. A currant GT3 spec car can often hit 250+ KMH before the entry into this corner and 200 at apex.

  • Hi everyone, I'm the Driver in the Ford GT and I'll try and give everyone a clear picture of what exactly happened.

First of all, every single one of the drivers walked away from this horrible crash with the exception of the driver in the white Ferrari who suffered some minor injuries and was kept in the hospital a couple days for observations but is at home resting. I actually walked back to the pit with the driver in the Porsche........

  • Macau is so AMAZING! Happy that everybody is ok!

  • Looks like me in the grand turismo games

  • On 0:46 I was like WOAHHHH!!!!!

  • @sarfios Insteadd of woah i went OMFG!

  • let see it from 0:31s, the red &white car ... leakage the oil?

  • 88FanHendrick has the answer to what happened with the Porsche driver...

  • Comment removed

  • lucky the engoin absorbed the imbacked of the porsh

  • they oiled up the turn for amusement

  • it looks like the porsche lost its engine?

    rofl

  • @MrVictorPrez94 porsches are rear engine you stupid shit

  • @blackhawke88 ye. forgot lol was on no sleep for 30 smth hours fair mistake

  • @MrVictorPrez94 Do not worrie, it does have spare engine on rear side.

  • god slow down

  • The most important thing about a car video is SOUND....how is it that its not here? -_-

  • you wonder why they have to radio??? use it!!!

  • why were all those cars coming into that corner so fast after the first crash

  • porsche driver had really bad day..

  • ps that black 'thing' ejected out of the Porsche after the colision is the fuel tank?

  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.

The audi r8 engine blew up and was leaking oil. The (pro) driver kept racing and spilt oil over the racing line.

This is a very fast corner and drivers barely lift from the throttle going round it; if there is oil on the braking zone, its almost impossible to slow down.

Everyone is ok but white F430 driver is still in hospital with broken vertebrae and punctured lung.

The race was red flagged almost immediately after this accident.

    Any questions, ask me.

  • @noodlez4378 yea you can see around 0:30 -0:35 the Audi leaves a trail behind

  • @noodlez4378 rare to find a true Top Comment

  • @noodlez4378 Why so many drivers ignore the double yellow flags?

  • @Jonkki they not they just try to slow down when oil is on the track.

  • @noodlez4378

Do you know where I could find more footage of GT Cup racing in general?

  • @sashaman1234

No, sorry. buy here is the in-camera view from the ferrari

    /watch?feature=player_embedded&v=oNQ_4maS-D4

  • @noodlez4378 Cool man i quadruple appreciate the info that what i hate sometimes when ppl post accidents or winning races without detail or a simple explanation.

  • @jonathan12

    Ignorance much?

  • Idiots :D

  • It is a very fast corner, and the pilots stopped accelerating right at the place where the oil was on the track, that is why the Porsche had already crashed before the turn, so even when seeing the first flags it was too late for some of em !

    hopefully noone badly injured !

  • Oil leak from Audi, then Ford GT crashed, Porsche crashed before the turn once he touched the brake, all others were the same especially the 430.

  • It's like some cities... yellow = speed up! Apparently double waving yellows = speed up even more!

    >_<

They should all have their racing licenses revoked...

  • Okej, it was oil on track. But why hade the porsche the hod open, has hi crasch in to the wall in to the corner?

  • at first when i saw the ford i was look ouch then the porsche oooooo then after that OMG OMG

  • oil on the track b4 this turn???

  • God bless the people who invented the Roll Cage... :)

  • money money money money money moneyyyy! D:

  • wow oli must have spilled on that corner somehow

  • Clearly some people have no idea what a Yellow flag means.

  • Damn! that's some shit! where's the front end of that Porsche? Oh, it's all of those little pieces all over the track!

  • yeh, oil everywhere just on corner entry apparently :|

red came out almost instantly, but getting that message to the marshals takes some time

  • Oil on track? I suppose this was before the WTCC races and the surface looks very slippery to me with several cars sliding out.

  • Only yellow flag? Why not red?

  • I feel bad for the Porsche.... He just got the sh*t knocked out of him

  • Unbeliveable!!! so sad

  • There must have been oil in the circuit prior to the corner, the porsche and lambo were on totally wrong lines into the corner.

  • god¡¡¡¡ that was horrible... are all drivers fine?

  • These guys look like amateurs. That track is way too fast, tight and generally dangerous for guys who keep wrecking for 30 seconds after a yellow.

  • Wannabe drivers. Yellow flag means: slow the fuck down.

  • ouch at :047

  • did anything happen to the porshe driver?

  • see video 0:31-0:34 seconds the audi R8 leaking oil on the road, GT40 was behind him and loss control ...then the rest followings .

  • fucking hell

  • can someone explain why 4 cars made a mistake on the same corner on the same lap? Was there oil on the track or something? or was there a crash on the corner entry that the video failed to show?

  • @seltblade I was the marshall in that corner~First a car was leaking oil along the track ,thats y that for 4 cars loose control and crash it-that moment is totaly danger everything was flying!!

  • I would be pissed if u crashed a nice car like that so badly.

  • geeee maybe they dont understand what double yellows are? stupid drivers

  • Comment removed

  • Shit drivers. Hope they are okay.

  • Racing or "jeu de massacre"

  • Buncha useless newbies...

  • @mukeshmaddyy c my comment.its the truth im in the industry

  • If you look at the slow moving car at 0:30, it's dropping a ton of fluid. I hope that's the reason why they were all struggling to slow down and safely navigate the wreckage.

  • It's scandalous.

They must retire the licences of the 3 last pilots.

  • Can u imagine what will happene if they haden;t use the yellow flags?

  • GEEEEEZE, thats bad, those yellow flags didnt do very much, hope everyoneis ok

  • the poor mechanics...well thats what happens when u let rich bankers drive fast cars

  • @brianm00re You are right

  • Lucky Porsche driver wasnt killed. Ban those that didnt slow for 2years minimum.

  • the quality of racing in Macau is generally pretty poor. It's an extremely tight circuit, filled with a lot of not-very-great drivers in these GT series.

  • yeah y in the hell they wasnt looking at the flags yellows been waved and they all come in like it was green dumb as lucky no one got hurt

  • Good thing everyone was okay, but god damn those are some fucking expensive cars!!!

  • 2nd car crash cant help it becoz the bonnet cover up the car windscreen, but the 3rd car and 4th (last) car should hv seen the yellow flags still they r way too fast and get involve in crash. The drivers are just ignored the yellow flags

  • is porshe driver OK ??????????????/

  • @Mixa8222 Yes, can't you read the video info?

  • @Mixa8222 not really.

  • WTF double waved yellows and they all ignored them apart from the red Porsche.

  • what are these guys on

  • Ouch !!!

  • I'm guessing oil was on the track just before that corner.

  • watch tvb for the analysis of the accident

  • wow! a dangerous ass corner!

  • thumbs up

  • why the re-upload?

  • Damn... could those other people not see the yellow flags?

  • Comment removed

  • @skaterfan1231 Yellow or not, significant oil makes even a reduced speed pass really iffy. If it was in the braking zone they were fucked.

  • @skaterfan1231 Should've been red flag.
