There is new type called Green Av. Here's what you should do:

- Since it won't let you access the internet with all it alerts, run comp in safe mode with network (press F8 at start mode to get to a black background).

- Download Malwarebytes antimalware and run that on your comp a couple of times.

thks i think it worked - if you have the 2010 version it will appear in the task properties as av.exe - just right click on it first then check the properties - if it is dated on the day you got the virus then thats it - to conclude 1. look for av.exe 2. check it is dated on the day you got infection 3. follow the video instructions to get rid

i had the most updated version of this pain in teh ass virus, not sure where i got if from but all i no its a pain in the ass, it kept popping up every 5 minutes saying i had 32 viruses, i ran an CA scan on it and it missed it, even with teh CA updated liek 10 times, i was able to get rid of it by eraseing my whole hard drive, crahsing the comp making it lose all of its memory, and that erased that mother fucking virus

At the beginning you have to enter regdit in the run section in case you can't see.

de-select the problem files causing av pro to run usually something with a directory pointing at some strange file

restart install avira and superantispyware + malwarebytes scan system fully if all goes well you just cleaned the computer if not time for a format

Hey guys i've had this problem many times, just install Malwarebytes' anti-Malware on your computer. It's free and run a quick scan. It automatically removes all the file once you reboot your comp.

just use SmitfraudFix because it takes 1min to clean the infected stuff. Then after it says the pc has been cleaned, go to add/remove and uninstall antivirus 2010.

Turn computer on. Tap F8 key before windows loads. It will give you boot options. Choose Safe Mode with networking.

Windows will boot into Safe Mode. Go onto google, search "combofix". Download Combofix onto desktop. Run Combofix program.

Reboot computer and all shall be fixed.

No... You're just cleaning left over Temp' Files & Registry entries; no other Files or Programs. CCleaner is a great tool, but for cleaning the Registry, I would strongly recommend 'Comodo System Cleaner'. Does a much thorough job, but still safe. (Tip: Don't experiment with random Registry Cleaners, you will damage your Operating System!)
