Lawler was great at selling a butt kicking. Plus he was one of the greatest on the mic. I agree that this is a great example of what makes a great interview. Who could not relate to him here, everybody loves retribution. Lawler used that angle a couple of times. Also, I remember that fumble, heartbreaking for Brown fans.

Now that's what a promo is suposed to be. Humble, adds the fan story to show he relates to them, then shows the fire to redeem himself. I think all up and comming wrestlers need to be made to watch posts like this one, and see what they're supposed to be made up of. Truely the moral fabric of old school wrestling. And I think this is the first time I've ever seen this angle, thanks for the post.
