Im so upset that HIFH were before my time.. they are one of those bands. much like Hope of the states (but different genre) which just came out at the wrong moment and didnt get the success they deserved
Perhaps there is alot of shit labelled as post-hardcore,but this is real post-hardcore....I still can't find something better for my soul...HIFH 4ever!
I was in this video when I was 17 my friend Rachel made me go, she said she wouldn't be my friend if i didnt go with her. They had free fruit it was good. I met some nice fans from Peterborough
Was meant to go see these lot tonight at rock city in Nottingham, but never got round to getting tickets, would have been worth £11 for this song alone!
Last time I saw them live in Oxford, Justin crowd surfed, then we held him up while he put his feet on the ceiling and sang from the "they wont break me" bit to the end, it was truly epic
Post-Hardcore evolved from hardcore-punk which itself evolved from the punk scene. Its not emo, it has precise rhythms and like other post-hardcore bands, justin has a good mix of whispering/quiet and angst driven shouting, eg Slow Song.
i just supported the whole french HELL IS FOR HEROES tour last may, and it was awesome , especially the paris'gig, they re so humble, so down to earth !! really love them
check my myspace if u want to, myspace/columbusound
I remember watching this on MTV2 UK when the channel still played NOTHING BUT videos and a few random cartoons pulled off the internet. I miss those days. Kick-butt song.
At every heroes gig I remember waiting in anticipation cause Justin would always stage dive or do something really manic during the guitar interlude in the middle of this song. Love it. Fantastic!
Aw man, neon handshake still kicks ass in 2012... HIFH and Million Dead were the best things that happened to my 15 yr old self

For the last time. They're PROPER ROCK. Not emo whiney shite...
BrilliantAffair 4 years ago 4
"Emo whiney shite" came from Post-Hardcore bands like HIFH... And it's in-proper to call it emo, hardcore/punk or pop-punk thank you very much.
JayFFAFAlesanaES 4 years ago
You would call this pop-punk? are you kidding me? I dont hate emo and listen to it...this is not emo though. Love FFAF too by the way.
