  • No mater how cute people think these birds are- the facts are that they have seriously overpopulated, to the extent that they are causing problems all over the U.S. They have caused numerous issues with airlines- including 78 recent strikes with aircraft in New York. The Center for Disease Control Atlanta confirm that Canada goose excrement is laden with potentially dangerous bacteria, some of which are resistant to bactericides(do you want your children exposed to this?). I say feed the poor!

  • @gemini16th overpopulated are only humans beings. and not geese!

  • @gemini16th you think GEESE are overpopulated? there are 7 billion people on the planet...

  • geese are majestic, social and have families. I hate hunters that shoot them. I'd shoot hunters in the head for doing this!

  • @shairaptor good my boy you have learned the ways of the duck

  • @MultiBlazer42 thanks, yeah I have!

  • we have some at my college. They had 5 eggs which all hatched and the 5 chicks are all quite big now, almost the size of the 2 parents, though they still have that sandy grey colour on their bodies. They spend alot of time pecking at the grass, eating bits of bread and cooling off in the lake.

  • WATCH MY VIDEOS ALSO I HAVE part 1 THREW 4 OF A FAMILY AND WE FEED THEM!!!

  • Haha, last week I was out at a pond at York University campus in Ontario and I threw sliced pears at a passing family and witnessed the parents crunching the fruits into pieces before spitting them back out for their goslings. And then the family approached and kept on following me until I got far away from the pond

  • The neck bobbing is a method of communication and sight, it allows the bird to take in a quicker view of its surroundings in a shorter period of time while at the same time sending you a message that says 'we see you, now if you know what is good for you, you won't come any closer to our chicks.' Sometimes it's also a message to the other geese and chicks to stop slacking off and pay attention, there may be danger nearby.

  • This is cute :)
