I'm a Mustang guy through and through, but I love these Dodge designs. I just wish they could cut the weight down. Regardless, both of these are sweet American cars. I prefer the Charger over the Challenger here, but with their base models I dig the Challenger.

@TKJWVU I might question it touching 180 mph stock awd it's like a 400whp evo it has half the cylinders but it revs higher with better gearing, so it can run 11's at that point but the mph is still gonna be under 180mph with stock cams, not really on a gtr or z06 level, nomatter what they can be fun, but I'm into old school muscle and import's that lap porsche's with little to no mods, so a awd muscle car is not my cup of tea there is other options for the money.
@DcEvoIX its a 4 door sedan. they already have the challenger as the v8 rwd platform. and the charger doesn't even look like the 60s and 70s chargers. think about it, it would be a v8 awd launch machine. an awd v8 car has the opportunity to be a big or semi big release. The Ford Raptor was the first of its kind, dodge can do it too with a 450 hp awd beast. plus they come in auto only, give it launch control. they would dominate 1/8 mile tracks.

I have a 2010 SRT-8 Challenger, and the 2011 is an improvement in every way, except in exterior colors... Car feels livelier around the corners and responds quiker to inputs, not to mention much more usable torque down low with the 392. 2013 is supposedly the last year for them though... tear.
@Shuffle3956 Not true, we had an Intrepid, a Plymouth Voyager and we still have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Intrepid lost the engine after 8 years and it had engine problems on and of for about 2 year. We bought a Buick Century to replace it, and that was much better mechanically, the voyager went through I think it was around 2 or 3 trannys and it ate up 2 power steaaring pumps, after the tranny went, we junked it. The jeep was the only one that was mechanically decent.

are all the cars manual. i have not seen one manual yet. i seen one modified to where he had 600 horses under the hood and thats about it. he customized the body all the way around.

I have a 2010 SRT-8 Challenger, and the 2011 is an improvement in every way, except in exterior colors... Car feels livelier around the corners and responds quiker to inputs, not to mention much more usable torque down low with the 392. 2013 is supposedly the last year for them though... tear.

@Shuffle3956 Not true, we had an Intrepid, a Plymouth Voyager and we still have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Intrepid lost the engine after 8 years and it had engine problems on and of for about 2 year. We bought a Buick Century to replace it, and that was much better mechanically, the voyager went through I think it was around 2 or 3 trannys and it ate up 2 power steaaring pumps, after the tranny went, we junked it. The jeep was the only one that was mechanically decent.

@fireplay20 Well, funny thing is, the most powerful engine used by all the big boys isn't a Ford, and Chevy, or an import... All Hemi's... The most powerful one produces more HP than the combined HP of the first 8 rows of cars at a NASCAR race... GO MA MOPAR! Knock Chargers/Challengers all you want, Mopar is by far better than Florp and Chebby...

If someone came up to me and told me to pick one: Mustang, Camaro, or Challenger, I will admit I'd pick the Challenger because it doesn't constantly try to be the best performing car between the 3; it's just naturally cool. That said, outside of the American companies there are so many more superior options. It just depends on what you want to be seen in.

and take a 1970 426 hemi and modify it to todays standards like bore the cylinders, all aluminum engine modify the heads [port them] ,solid lifter cam, steel crank maby side exaust ? might ruin the look but,roller rockers,anything else that im missing to be put in the engine there seems to be not much competition for the fastest good looking car anymore its mostly fuel economy WTF?!
